10 years ago they just wanted to be man-loving women. Then they wanted you to know they weren't women so you had to submit to them, knowing they're men. Are TRAs abandoning the whole sex and gender thing? There was another thread on r/ PoliticalCompassMemes where it was about Stanford Medicine's definition of a woman.(Of course it was typical "A woman is anyone who identifies as one") I see TRAs now admitting that sex and gender are different and doing the "Nobody outside Reddit denies that sex is real and that gender is a set of roles and social constructs". What really gets me about this thread is that TRAs are going full retard and being perfectly ok with using a circular definition and claiming that its actually not circular. For example, this comment right here is quoting a philosophy website where they argue that " a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman is not a circular definition."

Dig into transgenderism and you'll see that there's a great big demand - sincere or not - to bend the rules of a healthy psychological state of mind in order to make it all make sense.

This includes demanding others "accept it even if they don't understand it", play along with their self-image with the use of pronouns, not accepting their own otherwise healthy bodies and being able to alter them using lifetime supplies of pharmaceuticals and endless cosmetic surgeries, allowing them to emotionally blackmail others with the threat of self-delete if their loved ones don't let them have their way by transitioning.

Of the many paradoxes of the trans movement I think the core one is that being transgender is simultaneously a vaguely defined social construct and set of feelings with no particular definition, but it is also a chronic medical condition that will cause death if not treated with a very particular series of medical interventions. I've had people here disagree with me, but personally I respect the truscums/transmedicalists more than the mainstream of the movement, because at least they are trying to make sense of this contradiction. In a roundabout way the radqueers who support stupid shit like transrace and otherkin on the "anyone can be anything they say they are" are trying to deal with this contradiction too, just from the other direction, so as stupid as they are I still respect them more than the trannies who want to have their cake and eat it too.

I saw a strange bluesky post today. It was by a trans-identifying woman. She calls herself a "sex repulsed guy". She said she's been off hormones for 2 months and is losing the motivation to be on social media. When I look at her feed, it's less body horror and more traditionally pretty women. It's such a strange thing:

When on hormones: Was terminally online, posting and drawing lots of weird shit.
When off hormones: Goes back to reposting traditional (but still goon-bait) feminine art. Doing so less frequently.

I think being sex-repulsed is normal for a woman. They're supposed to be chaste and highly selective so they pick the right mate instead of just being the community cum dump and ending up a single mother. Yet our society has criminalized this. How many pooners thought their aversion to sex in this highly sexualized society was a malfunction that needed to be treated?

There's a bunch of different types of trannies. The classic trannies from before 2010s are genuinely mentally ill. Transmedicalists are largely in that camp. A lot of modern trannies rode on the sympathy for those mentally ill and use it as their excuse to be raging perverts. If they're not willing to castrate themselves then they're definitely not serious. But also because the topic is so polarized there's a lot of people that get inducted into the perverts' sex cults and castrate themselves and regret it.

It's a big mess and I feel sorry for the genuine trannies since they definitely won't be getting the right help.

The thing that bugs me about the "tucute" movement is that someone can claim to be trans and then stop and the community never calls these people out. For example, there's this one lesbian girl I know online who identified as non binary and had they/them pronouns in her bio for a few years. She uploaded a few photos of herself and you can tell she did nothing in terms of transitioning. Fast forward to this year and she now goes by she/they pronouns and removed the non binary flag from her new years art of herself. Of course if you call her out then TRAs will launch the typical "How does this affect you?" I mean sure it doesn't affect me personally, but what TRAs fail to grasp is that these kids are making being trans like its zodiac signs (which is ironic since you can look up how astrology's popularity grew with young women and LGBTQ people) and this cool hip trend. Not a serious issue that a tiny minority of people struggle with. I seriously wonder how anyone in the trans community can look at xenogenders and think people should take it seriously. Its one of the reasons why people aren't taking the trans community seriously anymore.

A lot of modern trannies rode on the sympathy for those mentally ill and use it as their excuse to be raging perverts. Apart from the perverts, I feel like a lot of young people who aren't trans in the classic sense of wanting to be the opposite sex struggles with having a personality or a central identity to themselves. For example, I shared this in the non bianry thread, but this Twitter user made up a gender called "Cinnagender" and their reasoning is that its to help them feel comfortable. Why does someone need to make up a gender to explain why their personality is different from everyone else? You can be a boy that has feminine traits. Its fine, it doesn't need a gender.

And I just looked at the replies and its a TIF that needs to explain how she's a "boy" that likes her feminine personality traits. Also, I love how the person who replied claims that she wants to be seen as a man and yet in the photo, she still presents herself as a woman.

I think this is a good distinction between the conversion therapy gays go through and the "conversion therapy" troons go through. Gay conversion therapy is pressuring gays into not saying no to others, troon "conversion therapy" is getting them to accept that other people have the right to say no to them.
