I think it's just a matter of him trying his damnedest to portray it negatively. It's powering major hubs of troll activity while the PS3 is a mere gaming console, as you said. Chris is an idiot who doesn't think halfway about how shit he portrays can be interpreted, like how you interpret what he might really think about HEXbawks from his comic, or how people were saying he drew "Crystal" in ShecameforCWC.jpg when he first threw it up on ED.
