He'd get scared, maybe curl up into hedgehog mode. Eventually he'd behave.

Random thing I learned today: The Mega Man series has an electric hedgehog called Hedgeshock the Erinaceroid. It appeared in the 2007 title Mega Man ZX Advent, which was rereleased in 2020, but which does not appear in the list of Chris's video games. I wonder what Chris would think of it.

He'd cower in fear and then have power fantasy's about beating them up, while getting worse but trying to hide his misbehaviour as a coping mechanism / act of rebellion.

With Chris physical punishments mean nothing, you have to deprive him of something he feels entitled to and you have to do it very quickly when he misbehaves and keep it away from him no matter how much he acts up for the punishment to sink in and correct the behaviour, you could pavlovian him into acting right through acts of violence but it wouldn't stick and when he feels safe he will slip back into old well worn groves but if you remove what he wants from the equation and keep him from having it he will correct his behaviour.

It's absolutely insane how resistant Chris is to any effort to correct his maladaptive actions. I posit that most nonsapient animals are more receptive to corrective measures than Chris.

It's the double edged sword of sapience, Chris is by definition a Sapient creature but he is also incredibly mentally dysfunctional and that adds a layer of mental and emotional armour in bizarre places allowing him to shrug off some crippling emotional blows but minor ones cripple him or at least play into a pre existing problems.

To get Chris to learn to mimic a behaviour you have to prove to him the negative consequences of a action or lack of action have a real and immediate consequence he can comprehend and that the required behaviour is rewarded and it needs to be rewarded consistently and for long enough that it becomes an ingrained pattern of behaviour and if he trys to cheat or otherwise deviate from the required behaviour the consequences for such actions will be swift and long lasting.
 
As he has always claimed to be related to the British monarchy, do you think he has spazzed out about not being invited to the coronation tomorrow?

You kidding? Even the threat of violence will cause him to go into a meltdown. Remember when he thought Clyde Cash was coming to his house to kick his ass and he spent all day hiding in a pile of stuffed animals and shitting himself (literally)

Ok he might be able to kick Linkara’s ass, I’ll give him that one.

Doug could beat every one of those if only because the rest are going to be out of breath within 5 minutes.

Chris meanwhile I can't imagine could beat any of them since he's physically weak, has no cardio and I don't think he's even been in a fight before.

Chris needs a routine not a scalpel no amount of torture or corrective physical punishment could ever really rectify him, even if you were to somehow give him good ol’ fashioned corporal punishment it wouldn’t benefit him in any way since even though these are executive actions he can not be conditioned in a way that he won’t try and weasel out of it in some way. Chris will fall back on old habits soon again, Pavlovian conditions like you say will never stick, he might even retreat further into his delusions if you were to physically abuse him.
 
I don't know if the trip to battle grounds was the home's idea or the residents idea, but it tickles me pink thinking (especially if it was the residents idea) that they had the option to either go on a nature walk, a hike in the woods, a fishing trip, or some kinda activity outdoors to get some fresh air in the Virginia wilderness. Or to spend time with other greasy bearded autists surrounded by the sight and smell of card games m, platic figurines, knick knacks and junk food getting fatter and lazier....guess which option they went with?

if chris agreed to a misfits boxing match who would be an acceptable opponent? brianna wu would be the most balanced opponent but he doesnt fit the critieria unfortunately so i think someone like amazing athiest or irate gamer would be the more realistic options.

this is assuming chris doesnt immediately roll up into a ball and get disqualified but i think these are the only people he could fight and not get knocked out within 10 seconds

actually upon further inspection i think him and linkara would be 50/50
