Unknown. In fact, it's unclear if Chris went in for an evaluation in the first place. From the way he phrased it in myriad Facebook posts, it seemed like the terms of Chris's probation were incredibly lax. Disappointing, yes, but nothing we haven't come to expect from the Chandlers' close friendship with Dumb Luck.

And you only needed to take the exam if, for whatever reason, they didn't have your SAT scores; I needed to take it because I went into college a year late due to a family emergency and my records essentially "expired" for the purposes of entry.

On that note, did Chris take the SAT? I know he was part of the "special" classes in high school, so I don't know if he would have been made exempt or not. I can't imagine the kid passing.

Probably not. I think only students intending to go to four-year-colleges take the SAT. Community colleges are open enrollment.

I did some research and you seem to be correct. Even people who get a GED take the SAT or ACT, so someone who didn't "finish high school" can get into a university.

I looked at the PVCC website, but I couldn't find info on whether they require a test of some kind as part of the admission process. Or if they required it back in the 90s.

Kacey once asked Chris if he took the SAT. He said he did, but then went on to absolutely not remember his score, and he has a history of lying to Kacey, so Iunno.

Chris: Yeah, mmm... Ah, yeah, I think it, I think it was... over 1100. [long pause] But that's to the best of my recollection. I swear.
Kacey: So you had something over 1100, but you went to a community college. I mean, did- did you even try to get into a university? Not that I'm saying community colleges are bad, but, come on.
Chris: I did- yeah well, yeah, my mom and dad advised me to go to the community college, because my family could not afford university.

I sincerely doubt Chris would have the capacity to take the ACT/SAT. He would either retreat to his fantasy land due to the stress or he would just whine until someone asked him to leave.

to be fair to OPL, I forgot my SAT/ACT scores, but I had intentions to going to a four year college. I spent a few years in a community college before going to a real college. It's doubtful Chris took them, though--I can at least remember where I took the SAT/ACT.

Good point but I think the prospect of being near his beloved gal-pals could have motivated Chris enough to try going to a college nearby.

At the time, he would have been eligible for extra time due to his disability. But, there's just no reason for him to have taken the ACT or SAT.
