Last I heard anything about it, Null washed his hands of the whole situation because Chris was being stubborn and uncooperative, and the situation was far worse than Null had anticipated since Barb had taken out reverse mortgages so she could buy more Goodwill shit. This was around the time the Teen Troon Squad started fucking with Chris and he only wanted to listen to them because they humored his delusions and Null wouldn't.

I have a feeling this babysitter was trying her best to calm down a tard-ragin’ lil Chris and, being a teenage girl rather than a trained social worker, had to barricade him inside his room for hers, as well as his, own safety.
