I tried to translate autism but .... this one was beyond any translator.
I’m assuming he used Suicune because it’s a Pokémon. He’ll probably just be “dressing up” as a Pokémon. Like his own sonichu form or something. Or as a standard Pokémon trainer. Who knows. No one is going to understand his cosplay until he tells us what he is. It’s like his music pony cosplay... so bad no one knows what it is but Chris thinks he’s clever.

Suicune is the game mascot of Pokemon Crystal.
There are a heck of a lot of Crystal Ponies in FIM, as a quick Google reveals. I suspect that Chris will be role-playing as one of these. (I would have suggested that he'd go as his own twin sister, but she's not a Pony.)
Edit one autistic step further: or, quite possibly, this pony. Note the name. Also seen with one of those musical ponies that Chris loves so much.

Like I said (sort of), I considered Sonichu characters with Crystal-like names, but somehow I think that Chris will be dressing as a pony. (Unless those Boba Fett and Ghostbuster guys convinced him that non-equine costumes are acceptable.)

I’m oddly excited about this prospect!
Chris has always been at his best when he sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of humanity. (As opposed to just looking like a tired, trooned out-Ben Franklin.)
You know like classic medallion-Chris... Or dildo-on-head-Chris.
Oh, come on! As loathe as I am to discuss Chris’s zoo of autistic creations, Nightstar is clearly a Pony sprinkled with power fantasies and his usual dose of Mary Sueness.
What I’m talking about is an actually “new” creature. (Or as new as it’ll be considering Chris’s lack of imagination.)
