He's also stated that creators motivated by greed or fame won't survive the merge, and, presumably, their OC won't either. Before that he's said that every anime character exists. The number of fictional characters to ever have been thought of has to be in the tens of billions, and the implication of the Earth's population increasing by an order of magnitude is apocalyptic.
