On a serious note, given Chris and his habit of taking things at face value, I'm willing to bet most of the humor of the series flies totally over his head. Practically all of it rooted in video game trivia and shoutouts, some that are really obscure references only old school gamers who still remember the Golden Age of Gaming will ever likely get.

Since the main characters embody various game consoles and the whole series is a metaphor of the Console Wars, shares are a reference to the power each game console representative has from those that believe in them/play their games.
Basically, it's fandom wars over consoles as expressed in religious terms.

Well it's been an ongoing process, and a long time coming, but Chris has gone completely over the deep end and lost his goddamn mind. He's talking about this shit like it actually happened, and having to astral project himself to cwcville...Jesus fucking Christ.
I guess Chris doesn't know/care that including characters from this games in his comic is blatent copyright infringement. Guess this just proves how much of a hypocrite Chris is. He'll "borrow" people's trademarks/copyrights on a whim and say the company and himself have a "silent agreement", but if someone takes his copyright shit, he flips his shit. I wonder if Hirtes is going to try and contact the developer of this game and report him so Chris will receive a cease and desist letter, shit himself and do nothing, then disregard the letter and keep infringing on people's copyrights.
