If it wasn't them, then it inevitably would have been somebody else. The thing Chris is too stupid to understand is his dependent nature - from what I recall about the idea guys is that they managed to get their hooks into Chris by simply playing along with his dumbass LARP. Ever desperate for SOME validation that he isn't pissing into the wind, just hearing somebody other than himself even talk about the possibility the Merge stupidity is in fact real with alternate dimensions is like giving a baby a hit of sugar for the first time.
A similar thing happened with the convention scene. He was out, people were talking with him, he felt like the center of attention...and then he pissed it all away to become excommunicated from any convention worth its salt. Even getting mocked by the fucking Bronies who displayed his angry email like an award certificate one year.
Ultimately, Chris is human and like all humans needs a degree of social interaction. However, because he's Chris, his general idiocy, ego, and all-around main character syndrome isolate him. As such, when the opportunity arises to even approach the kind of interaction he had way back in the rosy days of MHS with the 'gal pals' he'll happily go along with anything like a puppy.

Thank goodness the CWCki and the Kiwi Farms are separately owned and operated.
This is just Praetor trying to control the narrative once again. I know it'll never ever happen but I can't trust that Chris is his own independent person, especially considering the level of control he has over him.
If Praetor gets his hands on the CWCki theoretically, he is going to start by sanitizing himself before Chris.

I have to admit he's been on this Transformers fixation for FAR longer than I was expecting. As far as I know, it's basically just Chris shoving his stupid OCs into the existing Autobots vs. Decepticons context of Generation One anyway, which I would have thought wouldn't have held his attention over him getting more LEGO and trying to construct Manchester High 2.0 or something.

I thought it was just content fodder for Praetor but Chris says on his Xitter/ Bluesky he put a lot of, uhh, "man hours" into it and compared it to the process of doing Claymation.

Well, it's Chris describing work that doesn't have an immediate return on investment, so a "lot" is very subjective between how Chris defines it and how normal people would.
Though that also does suggest that he's finally grown out of the comics and is trying to do something more tangible, which might have meant going full into the Transformers again since at least there he has physical toys that actually do stuff like pose and, well, Transform, vs the Sonichu Amibos which are glorified statues. There is also the possibility he's started latching onto the current 'theme' of the Generations line, which is Age of the Primes and is giving figures of all of the Thirteen (demi-gods representing an aspect - read: sub-gimmick - of the Cybertronians as a whole), but I just don't care enough to really go into a deep dive. The videos are god awful and I have other shit to do with my free time that actually matters.

Oh, the royal thing was so long ago that he forgot about that one. He was convinced back in the golden age that his family bloodline was from high English royalty (instead of white trailer trash) over what I think was a misinterpretation of why his father had a Beefeaters statuette.
I doubt he'd care, though - after all, what meaning does a title of royalty mean when you already think you are multidimensional god FemJesus across all time and space and this is just one of your less fortunate aspects trapped in a reality that doesn't respect your powers which you totally have?
