Apart from the upcoming DLCs, looks like not much is happening. Götterdämmerung comes out the 14th of November, so try to finish your runs before that date, because the update that comes with it will most likely break your saves

One of the worst arguments for why they're feds came from some MAGA Boomer, i recall their entire justification being that they're feds because they wear a similar Blue to the FBI.
Here's the issue, the Reason they wear Blue and Tan is to mirror the Revolutionary Army, Secondly basing an entire argument off a Uniform Color palette is fucking retarded.

The moment an artist releases a piece of work into the world, the artists intention stops meaning jack shit, its open for interpretation. How many times have we seen troons say "uhm, ackshually Fallout/Starship Troopers/King Kong/X is criticism of capitalism, you dont get to find it cool". Any piece of art that enables you to see a different world is dangerous, because functionally the concept of author's intent is completely irrelevant, and a certain minority is always bound to find it inspirational. It's just how art is, simple as.

I talked with the devs about this, and they didnt seem to be any more right wing than your everyday man. But they wanted, and I quote, "everyone to feel like the hero of their own story". Doesnt matter if its left or right. And precisely this neutrality makes it "chud coded" to the troons, unless you rub it in the player's face that nazis are bad every other second, you're complicit in reviving nazism. And if you played Atomwaffen, they perform human sacrifices and mass executions in their conquered territories and end up destroying the planet, I cant imagine how the troons twisted this into shilling for nazism.

Sorry for the spergout, give me the tophat stickers. I guess I should be happy the troons are mad, its just the sheer stupidity....if even TrooNO cant stop people from simping for Speer, what chance do the rest have.

I am surprised it wasn´t referenced in the mod tbh when i was playing ewith PF,like is too good to not be used,and i think they are the real deal to be honest IRL,the hurricane stuff is actually making them more popular it seems.

Knew a friend of mine who was actually in PF for a while, while they're the real deal, i've said it before in terms as to why other groups dislike them and why some members leave is because of Thomas and his buddies in charge.
Keep in mind Thomas got a PF guy killed in a car accident because they kept hounding this dude to run red lights and drive long hours whilst this guy was clearly falling asleep behind the wheel. All whilst basically saying that if this dude didn't do what he was told, he'd get punished for it.

I'm excited for more flavor to get added, every faction should have some version of this and city capture events

Imagine if the Bloods, Crips or any of the Motorcycle Clubs managed to somehow unify the country or even large areas lmao. Same with the Aryan Nations etc.. The idea that any of these factions could possibly come out on top is something that i am hoping gets explored more

Something was wrong with the strat regions so I temporally merged them into a single big one for the time being. That got me loading into the main menu but...

I stripped out most of the files from the common folder, to minimize crash vectors. That included the country_tag folder, which is why it looks like east slavic genocide happened.
Wow they weren't lying with they said TNO was whitewashing national socialism!

The game is still screaming at me for the map errors, but at least I'm loading in now.

I made a new TFR playthrough as PF and reunited America. I had mostly a lot of fun but the city fights were horrendous because every single major city has at least a dozend tiny tiles to retreat to. This also has the effect that the AI will have a dozend troops spread in the same 3 tiles, who will constantly retreat just to reenforce each other. I'd rather have the almost irrelevant modifiers from vanilla than this garbage.

Has anyone managed to beat the soviets in the first war? I tried a french game and despite building up the entire game I just got steamrolled in eastern europe since they stack a fuck load of buffs

I fought Putinist Russia, but this should still work. The Russian buffs are very strong, but since their entire army is moto inf + SPGs you can usually stop them at Budapest since there is a supply gap and they'll run out of fuel. Particular cities in the mod have -70% attack, Budapest is one of them. The Russian Storm modifier that gives them 20% attack gets a month of duration per objective. However, they need everything to win and you can just camp east-bank Budapest with like 11 dudes. Expect winning this way to take a while though, until 2030 in my case. If you take the NATO side of the mil tree, the War Support the NATO unity sprit gives to Germany lets them actually do their military tree and buffs the huge AI army you'll have.
I don't know if you managed to outbuild the AI garbage airspam but if you didn't don't bother fighting them, just tac + logi bomb them where the deathstack isn't. Helicopters range sucks but they are cheap, same with all-dumb-bomb UAVs without the range issue.
I used these templates for winning EUWAR, IFV / SPG combo works very well generally and still does alright in rough terrain. Similar templates worked well in the GAW.

I had lots of SPGs stockpiled at the start of the war and started throwing them everywhere, it worked.

Also do the Davout Operation if you want to fight the second war because otherwise your only post victory military option is to literally hand the whole army over to germany, lol. And even if you lose, the 1st Euro war is just one war of two.

I wonder how the AI is able to build so many decent divisions. When I did my Russia run (putinist Medvedev) NATO had like 3 million fielded manpower and almost 300 divisions. I had only one million and was able to win solely because instead of defending the whole front, I just hyperfocused on capitulating contry after country. Turkey and Greece leave NATO if you capitulate Bulgaria, so take that into account when playing as Russia

The AI also probably universally gets bonuses when facing the player in setpiece wars, the devs have already mentioned in a changelog that the US civil war factions get a 20% attack bonus so production bonuses might also be there. The basic equipment varieties are also pretty cheap except planes, I had a yuge stockpile of SPGs from having like 5 factories on them for years.

Maybe it's because I put my whole industry into tanks and mechanized that I had so few divisions, as I suffered from huge infantry eq. shortages. It still allowed me to win in the end, so it really doesn't matter all that much

Godspeed. I would kill for a fork of TNO that makes it play like a regular HOI4 campaign, with the payoff being a Third World War and minus the dumb bloat of modern modding like economics systems et cetera.

I’m on the fence regarding the combat in big cities. On one hand I appreciate how it simulates the brutal street to street fighting of modern day urban combat. On the other, it’s incredibly frustrating as it could delay the capitulation of an enemy that should have long surrendered by then. For example: I was backing the Arabian Republic in the Saudi Civil War and the war kept going on for months after all the other factions capitulated because the fucking gooks sent a fully stacked veteran mechanized division to guard Riyadh. It would bounce from tile to tile regaining org then jump right back into combat. I faced similar experiences during my trek across America as the Atomwaffen.

It's also an absolute pain to micro through because the tiles are like three pixels wide and your map is covered with dudes standing on top of them. It's better than the vanilla 'cities are one tile that are slightly harder to fight in than forest' for simulation purposes but man clicking around those things is fucking infuriating. Of course, with all modded highly detailed maps you also inevitably have the occasional broken province that touches another but you can't move between them. Outside of that though some of the details are really nice though, like Crimea not just having a single, easy to block bottleneck.
