Man, I am legitimately bummed the Gamer Shack is over. That was such a darkly halcyon period - two loyal Deagle Bros, Cheez-Its and Weed and Beer and Dew close at hand, some chill-ass gaming... sure they were dysfunctional people who couldn't take care of themselves or sustain their lifestyle, but there was a lot of good vibes and genuine happiness there. Watching Jace with Gail today really drove home what a shitty life Jace has living with her, with an almost complete lack of human connection or hobby outlets. It would be one thing if Gail actually (managed to) exert responsibility over Jace and get him taken care of in the most important ways (medication, mostly and chiefly); but if anything, she's possibly worse for Jace's problems than even leaving him to his own devices.

So, here's to the Gamer Shack days, November - January 2015. R.I.P.
 
We dont know, Gail can't hold Jace forever. She's more on top of him then before, I can see him making a break for it soon.
 
I'm pretty sure a lot of us noticed a change in Jace's behavior when he and Eli became roommates and moved into the Gamer Shack/Weed Cottage. Compared to his antics when he was living with his mom, he just seemed like he was happier, more calm, and less easy to irritate and troll into doing crazy shit when he was out on his own. I didn't watch the entire stream from last night (Only about a few minutes before deciding I'll watch it later. Can't really pay attention when Jace isn't filming himself playin' vidya) but from what I did hear, I don't think Jace will benefit from Gail other than getting him to take better care of himself physically. Mentally she's going to use a combination of his meds as well as a batshit crazy combination New Age practices, and what I'm assuming are Evangelical religious teachings, to sedate Jace to the point where he won't be able to think for himself. What I noticed is that when he's on his meds and living with his mother, he seems more subservient towards her and preaching Christian values, but when he's off his meds or taking them on his own, he's praising his independence.

It may not be the end of the Weed Cottage Chronicles, though. Eli might come back on the grid and get back in contact with Jace. He'll make Jace realize that he...is his own master now...and always will be. *Cues dramatic music*


 
I hope Eli comes back, he was the kind of idiot Jace needed. His ridiculous chill calmed Jace down a little I think. If someone lived in the shack with them and told them no wifi until they have basic hygiene then it would honestly be the best place for them mentally and physically.
 
It makes me sad as well. I've been following PK91 since darn near the beginning, and the first cottage livestream is far and away my favorite.

Oh well. At least I'll always have my Sims 3 save.

To be perfectly honest, I was afraid of the Gamer Cottage burning down because of some electrical appliance due to how poorly the shack looked to be managed in Eli's Daily Diss videos. Still, I think that the Gamer shack videos were some of Jace's(and Eli's) most fun and this loss will be mourned :semperfidelis:.

I think some people expressed concerns of this in the Diss videos, but that could've been you :\.

I'm the only one who's going to call out them leaving all their gaming gear inside of the fucking oven? Did no one else think this was the most obvious thing that could go wrong besides me...?

They never used the oven. Couldn't figure it out.
