This quote means a lot to me, it was the last thing written in his diary, 'I must fight the course' is from Macbeth. Even though Booth was suffering from a broken leg, running from nearly every man in the nation and had a terrible cold, he continued, under the great pains of persecution he pressed on. I find it inspiring and from time to time, rewrite that same quote in my own journals.
