You know, it's stupid, but there was a quote that Michael from The Office said that stuck with me.
". . . the good thing about the American dream is that you can just go to sleep and try it all again the next night."
I know that it was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but it's become important to me. You have a bad day at work? You get to try again tomorrow. Lose your temper? Apologize and try again. Even losing a job or a friend? There's opportunity everywhere.
I take a lot of encouragement from that.

It may not make sense to everyone why I live by this because I live by this quote extremely out of context to how it's portrayed in the movie. To me it's a quote that represents how things don't always happen the way you think they will and you should be prepared to roll with the punches, so to speak.
Also it's the greatest line ever.
