Yo what the fuck? This isn't a fucking jail. This is like a low cost hotel. Fuck this looks better than alot of apartments I've seen. Man this don't feel fair.
Stay in there for 3 or 4 months only going out for court dates and eating the slop they feed you - then tell me how nice it is. I'm sure your room mates will be real cool, too.

Interestingly, the offense date on the Complaint lists April 22nd, 2025, which coincides with a lull in the thread and her (known) social media activity. 20 videos to the inbox of her one true love probably required all her focus to curate…

That may as well be the 5 Seasons compared to any jail in Louisiana or, and may God have mercy on your soul if you ever find yourself there, Mississippi.

Going to prison sucks of course but I got to admit that's a pretty nice looking prison cell compared to most. They get their own personal shower area with privacy curtains? A window to the outside? You go to a lot of prisons and you'll get constant jokes about not dropping the soap but they get to shower right in their cell in private. It looks all nice and clean and brand new. If I went to prison that it not what I would expect for myself at all.

People are too fixated on the way a county lockup looks in PR photos taken the moment construction was completed. Picture it after a week of Emily's "alters" taking shits in the corner, that'll be more accurate.

Emily will be arraigned half an hour from now, but sadly there doesn't seem to be a livestream

I wonder if she's trying for a plea deal maybe? Or did she really not send those emails and this whole thing was just gayops by someone? 🌈
I hope she tells her court appointed attorney to read the Farms because it's obvious that Crab Latte, Monty, Val and half the people posting in this thread are behind her downfall.

Case Update: Purple Glitter has obtained legal representation.

It seems that she has received a court appointed lawyer, at the 11th hour.

HELLO! It's ready! Meet John A. Lewright, attorney at law, licensed to practice in Missouri and Arkansas. He was prosecuting attorney in Barry County, Missouri from 1980 to 1994. Lewright received his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 from the University of Missouri and his Juris Doctor in 1980 from the University of Arkansas. At 72 years old, he is still practicing law and is married to (what appears below to be) manic pixie dream wife Kim.

Move over Lisa Manning, there's a new 1-star lawyer on the scene!

A 72-year-old, 'one star' attorney has jumped feet first into a complex and modern case involving trolls, hackers and spoofed emails. The hearing for which will happen tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM Central time. Will he be able to grasp any of it? Will Emily be able to effectively describe to him what she believes to be going on behind the scenes? Why don't we take a look at his history, with records graciously located by @Rotogravure and @lottalove .

2008 - he was reprimanded, this could be what the above article refers to
"the Court finds that Respondent, John A. Lewright, Missouri Bar number 30484, violated Rule 4-1.3 by failing to timely file an appellate brief for his client and by failing to respond to show cause orders issued by the appellate court."

This reprimand could possibly be related to THIS happening

Woman commits suicide in wake of conviction in Cassville murder case

By Jeff Lehr

jlehr@joplinglobe.com

CASSVILLE, Mo. — A trial in Cassville ended prematurely when a woman convicted of murder by jury verdict Thursday night committed suicide before the trial’s penalty phase was to begin Friday morning.

Barry County authorities said Adella Fae Patton, 47, took an overdose of medication and died at her home in Monett just hours after being found guilty of second-degree murder and armed criminal action.

“She hadn’t even been sentenced yet,” Barry County Prosecutor Johnnie Cox told the Globe. “We hadn’t completed the second phase of the trial, and she was still out on bond.”

Patton had been free on $250,000 bond before her trial in the December 2005 shooting death of Kevin L. Madison, 45, of rural Exeter. Senior Circuit Judge J. Edward Sweeney allowed the bond to remain in place after the guilty verdicts were returned by jurors about 8 p.m. Thursday and the court recessed for the night.

Coroner Jim Fohn confirmed that Patton died of an overdose of medication at her home. He said Patton left behind notes indicating that she could not serve a term in prison. Her body was received by White Funeral Home in Cassville.

Patton’s attorneys, John Lewright and Robert Foulke, could not be reached for comment.

The trial began Monday in Barry County Circuit Court in Cassville, with the state concluding its case Wednesday and the defense presenting testimony Thursday. Patton testified on her own behalf, telling jurors that she shot Madison in self-defense.

Trial testimony showed that Patton and Madison had an “on-again, off-again” relationship, and were living in separate residences near Exeter at the time of the shooting.

A Barry County Sheriff’s Department investigation found that she called Madison on Dec. 11, 2005, and asked him to get his deer meat out of her freezer. He drove to her place, and she brought the meat out to him, according to the investigation.

An argument ensued during which the Sheriff’s Department believes Madison struck Patton a few times. She went back into her house and re-emerged with a .22-caliber revolver.

There were no witnesses to what happened next, other than Patton and Madison, Cox said. A male friend of Patton, who was inside the house, told investigators that he did not see what took place, the prosecutor said.

Cox said investigators believe Patton fired a shot over Madison’s head while he was partially turned away from her and intending to leave. But Patton testified that Madison had come at her after she fired a warning shot in an effort to get him to leave and had grabbed for the gun when she shot him in the head.

Patton’s attorneys presented evidence that Madison was convicted two years previously of a domestic assault on Patton, but chose not to argue a battered-woman-syndrome defense at trial. They instead employed a self-defense argument.

Prior threats

The prosecution argued in Adella Patton’s murder trial that she was in a position where she did not have to come back out of the home and shoot Kevin Madison. Several witnesses for the state testified that Patton had been issuing oral threats toward Madison prior to the shooting and that she was aware that he had gone to Arkansas the previous day to meet another woman.

That doesn't bode well. Hopefully this is not foreshadowing.

So her first little hearing was supposed to be this morning and... looks like she's going to be in jail for 2 more months at least as her next phase is scheduled for July 24th!

So..

The Prelim Hearing is almost always scheduled like this, but it does not mean the disposition has concluded (or even happened). They sort of pre-emptively schedule them out.

It is entirely possible (but very unlikely in Emily's case) that they settle in disposition and there isn't a need for a Prelim Hearing.

However, I fully expect that unless they wrangle her into a program immediately, she will stick to her NOT GUILTY guns and force the KillerSharkAtty to enter that plea.
