Pseudointellectuals AKA pseuds are cunts who dont seek the truth but rather be hostile to people. They confuse smugness with intellect and use word salad to confuse people.

Pseudointellectuals congregate on places like Tumblr, Quora and even here.

My advice is to see some philosophical wall of text and summarise it in normal words. If it’s nothing valuable just in random big words, then that’s a pseudointellectual.

However just because somebody disagrees with your political worldview doesn’t mean they are necessarily pseudointellectual.

Pseudointellectuals are both on left and right. Leftist pseudointellectuals and rightist pseudointellectuals often act like their opposing side are inhuman idiots.

Most pseudointellectuals also sometimes brag about being on the spectrum.

Could be summarized as: Pseudo-Intellectuals are people that use a cursory glance of educational and intellectual material to "prove" their worldview to others, oft for gain and fame of themselves."
I think that last part is important, no one cares about Joe Shmoe bitching on facebook on event he thinks he understands, but, people do care about what an "expert" thinks, informed or not.

I think a good example would be urbanists that don't understand that every city can't be a 15-minute circular design and that America is fucking huge, and no amount of choo-choo trains and bicycle pathes is going to fix that.

I do agree but I find niche pseuds also pretty funny.

I also noticed pseuds often rate my posts with Autistic and rant about Kendrick Lamar’s diss track of @Core Theorist being too mean which is a notion I disagree with.
