Did the boss challenge finally, got her with the full Saikai to 350 HP. Sacrifice truly is the easy path.

Really Gregor was the weak link here and got absolutely shit skill selection, never managing to get a big bite of the boss, with the burn not really achieving anything.

I mean, doesn't roland have 2 relics, arguably 3. Mask, Gloves, arguably Durendal
Mask is clearly just a singularity based object which I personally think is called the veil
The "Veil"...? Isn't that perception-locking tech exorbitantly expensive? Jeong's Office Rep Ishmael
Durandal is just a masterwork sword it doesn't get anything special its just good, but you could probably argue that durandal is the only relic cause its based off legendary status but it seems like it's just an unbreakable blade
And well the gloves is just probably P corp like the devyat trunk
So in reality roland just had fantastic equipment that costed a pretty ahn

Nothing from the Ruina artbook mentioned anything about relics. I'm willing to bet relics weren't really in KJH's mind during that time, but I wouldn't be surprised if they incorporate some P. Corp flavour to explain the gloves.

LoR Artbook Vol. 2. p. 85. - "[Roland's mask] makes eyewitnesses perceive the wearer as little more than a random passerby grazing past the corners of their sight. That's why most people were unable to recognize Roland when he was using his wife's gloves, mistaking him for the Black Silence."

Library Of Ruina Art Book Vol. II pg. 13: "The Black Silence’s gloves are more than just dimensional weapon storage. When the Black Silence shows up, the gloves muffle all sound in the surroundings other than the Black Silence’s weapons cutting through the air.

As for Durandal, it's probably just another one of many extremely expensive workshop weapons Roland (and Angelica) used. It probably costed a pretty penny for Aeng-du to recieve a Mook Workshop blade too.

I 100% agree, but I bet you they'll eventually be retconned into being ones.

Ok but, surely Roland's robot gf counts as a relic for him now right?

Walpurgis prep is almost finished. Got enough for Phillip and Outis w/ego, doing runs to get Full Stop Cliff and hopefully Magical Girl Don ego.

Probably end up saving Regret Faust for the next one. I should go after Night Awl Gregor, but I've already ground mirror dungeon enough by the time this one comes around

Speaking of Mirror Dungeon, I finally ran solo Rodion Nursefather and damn once she gets going she can put out numbers, but those first couple turns can be rough.

They are really pushing the "Other sinners die to power this unit up" this half of the season, aren't they?

Ryoshu murks nursefathers and apprentices.
Outis murks middle id's who fail a clash (And gets an extra bonus if Kirasmel dies?)
Rodion gets a buff if Heathcliff dies
Dawn office teleports Sinclair away if fatally wounded and sends him into a new Ego release if they die

https://youtube.com/watch?v=cOiTxnqcNyESo awesome
A fucking stigma workshop claw arm horus style thats insane
Lol, Sinclair gets cucked by gigachad Greg. Are the Ids Tremor burn? I think Greg's final skill was tremor. Main issue is how to effectively kill the two to get enhanced Sinclair.

It works narratively since the whole point is Sinners dying in fights, but until this season you never had anyone dying unless the boss spammed red coins with status effects or absolutely ridiculous attacks.

You can hear very faint Burst sounds during their skills, so yes.
I assume Sinclair is enhanced by default, and the Gregor + Faust death is just a really niche nuke just like Middle Outis' teamkill. He's probably buffed up from them just existing and not really relying on them being dead.

I expect Sinclair with both of them dead to be Muga Ryoshu tier (copium)

Here's what I'm seeing:

Faust.

  • Skill 1: pride 2 coin
  • Skill 2: sloth 2 coin
  • Skill 3: wrath 3 coin
  • Clashable Counter: wrath 2 coin
  • Hot cello mode (buffed skills)
  • Skill 1-2: 3 coin pride skill
  • Skill 2-2: 3 coin sloth skill
  • Skill 3-2: 4-5 coin wrath buffed 3s (can get 3 atk weight)
  • Skill 3-3(?) wrath, hard to tell coins seem about 5 she needs a further buff level where she glows (which she gained after using a 3-2 in the trailer)
  • When Sinclair used his S3 and Gregor used his S2, she did a 2 coin assist attack on both

    Gregor.

  • Skill 1: sloth 2 coin
  • Skill 2: pride 4 coin
  • Skill 3: wrath 4 coin
  • Clashable Counter: wrath 2 coin which seems to give assist defense with another 2 coin clashable counter
  • When he used his S3, faust did a follow up but then he did a S1 follow up to her follow up
  • Skill 3-2: wrath 4-5 coin

Who tf ships faust x sinclair just to get cucked by gregor
That one gacha player who was crashing out on the Steam reviews of the game over Ncorp Faust and Sinclair years ago would be fuming if he saw this.
A good rule of Thumb I'd follow is watch these Dawn Office kits: If they somehow revive Dawnclair and bring him up to par to Season 7 powercreep, even with his 10-rolling single-coin Skill 1 then pretty much any important ID is bound to get an indirect buff in the future a la Mentor Meursault or (assumedly) Dawnclair.
The One Who Nails Meursault will fix all Ncorp units, trust in the plAn :optimistic:
Bro, you should have suppressed your inner BMJ and stopped yourself from gambling your drug money lunacy instead of buying a new car the limited units. You lost it all :lossmanjack:

Of course, trust the plAn. One Who Nails Meursault will bring every Inquisitor up to meta, including N Corp. Meursault, after the infamous Meursault Cloning that takes place in Canto 10 Part 2 will let you run both at once. Not only that, but N Corp. Faust's passive and support passive will now fire every turn unconditionally and heal 99 SP (Tiphereth Uncap), along with N Corp. Don being turned into a proper Tremor Hemorrhage Unit and given Nail Deluge, not to forget N Corp. Heathcliff's Skill 3 will now apply Nail Entanglement and allow you to tie in the different Nail types such as Pinning Nails.
N Corp. Rodion wasn't mentioned here as she will get the Heimlich Kromer ID, which will simply be N Corp. Faust but with marginally faster animations.

There is a video showing all this off but... they're taboo, sorry.
