Pride is less extravagant as previous years (there has been a downward trend in money contributions to pride since the start of Trump's second presidentcy) Over the years it slowly shrinks into a fun or weird thing some neighborhoods do in each city - gay bars make a drink and they may host events but I could see pride parades starting to become unpopular (Boise pride is one example (which funnily enough takes place in September), a couple years back it was just a block party with a stage that was sponsored by Kroger) places like nyc, philly, sf, and la stay as strongholds despite lower budgets. Trannies seethe but most people are fine with gays and there is less energy surrounding activism.
