Also I liked the sets. I knew one guy who was hyped because he said it was the first Wynona Rider action figure.

To each his own but I saw Resurrection on opening day and it was a massive pile of shit. The only positives it had was the presence of Ron Perlman and some good gore. My hatred of Resurrection is outmatched only by AvP which was not only a massive pile of shit, not only rated PG-13 as an extra fuck you to the fans (a "fuck you" personally signed by former studio head Tom Rothman), not only squandered a great concept that was 15 years in the making and the comics proved you could do it justice and have it not be unbearable schlock, but the production of AvP robbed us of an Alien 5 written by James Cameron and directed by Ridley Scott.

Alien 5 with Ridley Scott and James Cameron. Think about it. This was almost a thing.

Nigga, I would trade Matrix Facehugger for a good version of Prometheus any day.

Edit: ponder this too. If a Cameron/Scott Alien 5 happened that could have lead to an alternate timeline where Avatar never happened and Cameron would have actually directed Battle Angel: Alitta.

I have a theory that most people who like Predator 2 and Alien 3 are pretty chill people. I'm a little more optimistic about Predator 4 but Predator 2 is a damn good sequel.

I like Alien 3 too. Did you know the guy who played the black preacher dude with glasses went to prison for murder before going into movies? I think it was self defense but its pretty cool how he turned his life around like that.

And yea ok, going to step on some toes here but I always enjoyed the Alien as a creature and the Queen is my favorite movie monster but Predator is like if there was a whole planet of ooga booga spear chucking niggers who figured out how to go into space.


I like how they look with the metal mask but their vagina faces are stupid as hell.

Also predators practice castration in their culture, go look it up on some lore wiki.

I hated the AVP movies but lol that scene with the predator xenomorph deep throating all the women in the maternity ward

They need to keep Ridley Scott far swaa from this franchise.

I'm more upset we never got Neil Blomkapf Alien 5
 
I've never liked any Predator movies. this just looks like the rest, and i'll probably be made to sit through this one too. *sigh* It could be worse though. the movie at least looks watchable.

Once again, modern trailers spoil way too much. But after the last Predator movie, I am not surprised this one looks to introduce the blood feud between the two clans.

They added a new trialer today, that looks grittier, more violent and just in general more action filled than what we've seen so far. Here's to hoping this movie doesn't suck, like we all expect. :drink:

Well thee characters spend a lot of times in Aliens saving and protecting Newt then they kill her in the sequel 5 minutes in, maybe they have waited later in the movie to kill her?

Well, I hate to quote Jim Sterling of all people on this one, Ripley's sacrifice to save Newt wasn't in vain. She spared Newt a horrible death in favor of her dying peacefully in her cryo tube. In a movie about accepting the inevitable and dealing with mortality I feel that is significant.
