You should try making them at home. They aren't very difficult to do and homemade gnocchi are always the best, with a little trial an error you can make them just right.
they are super easy to make. but Pommes Dauphines are the superior little potato balls.
incredible fluffy but also much harder to make than gnocchi

Wow, I've never heard of this and they look great. Also it's interesting that it is a mix of Italian Gnocci (potato) and Parisian Gnocci (choux dough), both very good, together in one dish.

I’m curious about your favorite potato salad recipes. As a kid I was force-fed those awful, gloopy, mayo-heavy potato salads and it put me off the pairing of tatties and mayonnaise until I was well into my 40s. So I’ve stuck with my tried and true combo of golden new potatoes, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, capers and fresh mint or dill (plus salt and pepper, obvs) for years. I also like to roast potato wedges dusted with Montreal chicken seasoning and paprika, combine with caramelized onions and eat any leftovers cold.

What’s your go-to potato salad?

This Tyler Florence recipe is my favorite. It seems that several links and even the Food Network link says 2 cups of mayonnaise, which would ruin it. The book I got it from says 1 cup and that is plenty. I like mayo in general, but even if mayo is not a selling point, I find that the other ingredients round it all out and give it good balance.
