Posting Privileges for New Users - *joined six minutes ago*

God. I'm sick of seeing newfags who join literally seconds ago because they end up posting in lolcow and their posts are sloppy and unwarranted. We aren't their personal army.

So i had an idea. What if we put a block on all new users that doesn't allow them to make new lolcow threads until they meet a certain goal, like a certain amount of posts or a certain amount of earned points?

Users shouldn't be allowed to have animated avatars until they make at least 10,000 posts. It's the only way to be sure they're responsible enough not to use a shitty one-second loop.

Part of the fun in new users is figuring out which one are keepers. We were all new to this forum at one point, no need to discourage new users from trying. Besides, if a new user acts like an idiot, it's another person to laugh at.

Jannies are getting paid millions of dollars by null to do their usual evil jannie shit. By blocking the posting privilege of new users, thousands of jannies will go out of work, or even worse, get paid for sitting on their ass not doing jannie shit.

You have to understand that many people aren't amazing specimen, filled with knowledge and wisdom like OP here. Some people are ignorant laymen who will make a shit topic/post here and there, and people like OP will have to sip their tea, shake their head in disappointment and wish there were more people worthy of belonging to their autistic aristocracy on the site. You shouldn't be allowed to make any threads, period, until you at the bare minimum have been here a week and have at least 10 posts.
