It's not entirely clear to me that's an actual thing, rather than wishful thinking. If nothing else, comparing the video to photos of Wu standing next to the bike, it's clear that the figure in the video is exactly the same height as Wu. The figure's knee is about level with the bike's engine mount, consistent with Wu's height relative to the bike.
Yeah, but on the other hand, is Wu
seriously giving that much of a shit about the hair that they can't even do a long shot of the bike coming to a stop and the driver taking the helmet off, revealing that it's Wu? Or, maybe not even riding with the helmet since last I checked, that isn't actually legally required. Wu totally could just hop on the bike and drive off in a straight line.
It's a full body suit for a reason since
before the political ads that required them to actually ride the damn thing, every time that bike appeared, Wu was NOT in a full body suit or had a helmet on their person.
Considering Wu is freakishly tall, I'd say the chances of finding a body double for a no-budget web ad is basically zero. It makes no sense to me that they'd even try.
You have to remember this is the same motherfucker who thought campaigning in states outside of Massachusets made any sense...or that as part of the political campaign they should fly down to fucking DISNEY WORLD to attend the final day of DisneyQuest.
Nothing Wu does makes sense beyond the idea of self-glorification. This is the campaign
Wu wants to run even if parts of it have to be blatantly faked - so long as the final product looks good to Wu, that's all that they care about. And what works for Wu generally doesn't work for the rest of society suffice to say.
