ytmnd.com - Mid 2000s memes were the best memes.
candystand.com - I think it was the only game website that the school library computers would let you go to. The heyday of Flash games.
pinkmonkey.com - Free Cliff Notes for all the books I was supposed to read but didn't.

bloodydisgusting's forum before killrobot killed the forums with all the unnecessary changes. it was so fucking active once. it was one of the few sites ever i really wanted to be active on. oh wait shit goes on.
never was into dating sites for that purpose by dategookup.com once had a ridiculous active forum from like 2006-2012ish. it was fun for trolling..and met some fine personalities on there.

Not a 2000's website but i found an useful tool to come across some obscure sites still up. Really useful now that coolrandomwebsite and StumbleUpon are dead now.

Bumping this thread because I just remembered this site and always found it interesting.

Also this site has alot of skitzo-inspired paintings that he claimes to paint "with his mind." Some of them make my head hurt, but I've always found them fascinating for some reason.

iSONEWS, a site that posted the NFOs of scene releases so it was easy to keep track of what was going on, it also used cookies to calculate how many new listings there are since your last visit which was then shown on the front page. They indexed every category that scene rules covered and updated the listing with relevant information like if it got nuked. All in all it was fantastic, they didn't offer links or anything to anything, just the NFO, but that was valuable at the time.

The images are broken but the site was simplistic and looked nice for the time, this was refreshing during the dotcom boom and the web 2.0 era where everything got bloated and whorish.
