Both of those bikes (front one is a Suzuki GS650GT that's the same age as I am, the rear one is a 2010 Suzuki SV650S) I'm also slowly rebuilding a Honda VFR400 NC24. My car is just a plain old 2001 Honda Accord.

I managed to get my car back yesterday once I found out repairs were less than $500 dollars. Now as much as I love driving my car, I'm still paranoid as fuck checking the temp gauge. Earlier while eating out, I noticed radiator fluid leaked from my car. Apparently, I put a bit too much in. Temp gauge was also between the half-way point and the right side. I don't know if this is bad or if this is normal when using the AC but I feel I should really do something about the excess fluid I put in. Would using a turkey baster help in removing it or should I go to a mechanic to remove excess fluid?
What was all done in it?
On a car like yours the temp gauge is nearly a dummy gauge, it shows cold... normal WTF. Almost all cars now run a dummy temp gauge. So don't take as a slur on your car. I've done a lot of wrench time on SN95s (see I'm legit I know your cars chassis code lol)

So fact it's not sitting in the "happy middle" is worrying. Over flowing the rad really shouldn't effect her too much. Personally I'd take back to who fucked it up and ask it to get un fucked at no cost to you.

It's also insanely difficult at least for me to help with out seeing in person. But I would also say perhaps a lower temp t-stat could remedy it for a literal screw turn of work and maybe 20 bucks in parts. Still there is nothing inherent in that motor that runs hot.

My daily driver is a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. I also have a 1974 Ford F100 with a 390ci V8 and four on the floor. It was originally my Grampa's truck, then my Dad's, and finally mine after Dad passed away. I'd like to eventually restore it and drop in a big engine like a 427ci or 460ci. It's got a little surface rust, but is otherwise in great shape. It's geared for towing, so it's pretty damn slow.

I used to own a 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt which was a sport bike with a hot rodded Harley 1200cc engine.

After Mrs. Dude and I buy a house and get a little equity I plan on taking out a car loan and buying a classic muscle car, like a Chevelle or Torino or GTO, or possibly a late 50's cruiser with the big fins and lots of chrome. Something that my family and I can enjoy together.

1996 Land Rover Discovery, rare (for America) 5 speed model. Slowly been restoring and repairing the bugger. 210k miles, not bad for something that's supposedly 'unreliable'.
Also have a 1982 RX-7. First car, also.. Restoring it. Thinking of going with an early 80s JDM look.

Been on the market for a V12 Jaguar and/or a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, preferably a British market one.

This is my baby, it's a 1989 BMW 525i 5-speed with one of 500 4-seat M5 interiors that I bought and swapped in. It also completely overhauled suspension with bilstein he shocks, H&R lowering springs, M5 swaybars, updated sound system with Bluetooth and voice activation and a ton of other minor mods.

Unfortunately, I blew my engine in a friendly street race last fall. So it's been at the shop getting completely overhauled with a built s50B30US engine, mishimoto cooling system, exhaust, m-tech side skirts and a bunch of minor body work and other random stuff. It should be finished next month.

My other car is just a beater 1990 Volvo 740 GL with like 400k on the clock that I bought for $300 and use as a parts hauler/beater. I also kind of use it to fuck around with stupid ideas to see if they'd look cool without fucking up my BMW.

It's actually the most reliable and cheapest to fix of any car I've ever had.

I put bigger tires on the stock wheels, painted the bumpers and trim black sanded most of the paint off and rusted it, put the shark face on it, did some sticker bombs and put blue LEDs instead of the dome lights.

I might finish it once, my BMW is done or I might just keep it because it's kind of nice to have a spare car you don't give a shit about.

Dude, I had a '79 RX-7 a few years ago. Really cool car, unfortunately I sold it and my '83 Datsun 280zx when I moved. Really wish I'd kept one of the two.

Can we get a pic of them comfy chairs in the 5? I'm sure a S50 all warm gotta rip in that car. That's such a sweet car. Love the Volvo too!

1996 BMW 318ti. I got it for an absolute steal at $1500 because the guy was leaving for Hawaii and absolutely had to get rid of it. Also he was a friend of my dad's so he could trust me, since it did hold a bit of sentimental value.

It's got some pieces of the interior that need replacing, like the coverings and a few other niggling things but the actual internals are solid and the thing hauls ass if you let it. Given how much of a pain it is to find parts for due to the general scarcity of E36 318s, it'll be a while before it looks like new or anything, but whenever I'm lucky enough to find one at a wrecking yard or something, I try to see if there's anything I can salvage.

The most serious thing I've done so far is change out the sound system since the rear speakers were blown and the tape deck didn't work at all. I get killer deals on car audio stuff at work so it only cost me like $50 for a new stereo, install kit, and speakers.

All I have on my iPad is this crappy shot. It shows my cupholder mod and m-tech shifter though, I'll take some more in a few weeks when the seats aren't full of random parts. (Probably going to have to re dye them too, hopefully 11 months in the sun hasn't fucked them up too bad ::stress sigh::

Was it the 4 or 5 ratio one? What colour? Do any mods to it? I'm split between RS Watanabe 8 spokes and Hayashi Yayoi wheels for mine.

It was Daytona Blue, which was a pretty rare color, it also was one of the first ones so it had the yen sized coin holders and stuff. I honestly didn't do much to it because it barely ran most of the time I had it (carburetor issues) and I had four other cars at the time (BMW, Datsun, a Volvo S70 turbo, and a 2013 golf tdi). I sold it to a kid who was going to 13b swap it before I moved to Cali.

Not bad! 5 gear one, too. Mine is Formula White, so fairly common. But fitting, seeing as how it's the racing colour of Japan. Mine has black cloth with salt n pepper seat inserts. Never seen a pattern like that in another SA22, makes me think it was reupholstered at some point.
Know how you feel with carby problems, mine was giving me trouble. When I rebuild it I'm going with a 2bbl downdraught Weber. Not planning on doing anything wild to it, nothing that isn't reversible, besides porting it. Also looking for the rear axle from a GSL-SE, so I can get me the LSD and 4 wheel disc brakes.

Dunno why that kid didn't just buy the GSL-SE if he wants a 13b so bad. They came with one from the factory.
