After about half of year of No SFM I decided to use a custom model and get back to work. Needless to say I'm rusty. In four hours I whipped up this slop.
Characters WIP name is Anita. Trying to decide if I should name her something else instead.

After sketching this Pharaoh's pose and expression, I was a little unsure how to describe it. To me her arm gesture suggests confidence, but her eyebrows read an underlying anxiety. So I decided she's posing as this cool Queen of the Nile who knows she's hot stuff, but deep inside is a little uneasy about all the responsibility that comes with Egyptian divine monarchy. Or something like that.

Anyway, I just wanted to doodle something Egyptian after neglecting that subject matter for so long.

I see you go for the tail up above the waistline. That always seems awkward to me, being so use to normal cartoon animals having to make due with cutting holes/slits in their pants to string 'em through when they're very low on the back. That always seemed a lot more normal to me.
