EDIT: Looking back, I suppose the best art to me is when you're not sure what media is used in its composition.

Work in progress, as for know I think it's going to be a drawing of Jigoku Dayū, "the Hell courtesan". Her pose is pretty much identical to the one in a piece I posted earlier (which I ended up scrapping), but I still wanted to use something from that one here.

Thanks! I had to tweak the top heavy design and make it more bottom heavy so it'd cure without deforming, but I'm glad you like it.

I'm doing it for the first time this year. I'm pretty nervous but I've been doodling at work to practice.

And just for fun, here's a shitty redesign doodle for Sunshine Goodness from Foodfight that only took me a few minutes. I'm a lot faster at traditional art than digital for some reason.

It'll be my first time participating, actually. I'm looking forward to it, but I haven't drawn a thing in months, so it feels like I've lost several years' worth of development, just when I was getting decent at hands and proportions.

Switching mediums helps sometimes, but it's nothing like drawing every day.
