This is only a quick doodle to see if my art tablet still worked but it's literally the first thing I've sketched in years and hopefully I will try to find more time to draw. I used to be pretty okay at it.

This is the latest piece that I colored. I had to fix a sleeve on Photoshop when I accidentally colored it wrong. Once agian, this was done in crayons.

I'm new here so I thought I should drop off some work in progress stuff and character concepts. One of these has two adopted characters so their designs don't originally belong to me, so I didn't change them up too much. Sorry if my art sucks ass balls. I legit want some critique.

I don't really know how this works yet so my art will be uploaded from my sta.sh. Tried to upload the art in different more conventional ways but they showed up as broken images.

Yeah this place seems buggy when it comes to what pictures are embedded here. From what I see here, your sketches don't look too bad at all, especially the first one.

This is a bit older so I do know the hands, arms and, legs are weird. I mainly have conflicting feelings on the face. I'm waaay too worried about her face being too tumblry. What I was attempting to do was to make an fairly attractive middle-aged woman.

One of my main concerns was that the woman's face looks way too masculine. This is totally fine assuming that's what you were going for, but most masculine woman would still have softer features. So I would recommend rounding her face out in certain areas, such as her jawline.
As for your concerns about looking too "tumblr", my suggestion would be to study actual faces. One of the pitfalls many tumblr artists fall into is never learning how to draw from life so they have a tendency to wing it, which doesn't look very good if you don't know what you're doing in the first place! Study the actual proportions of the face and if you ever find yourself unsure about something, just look at a reference.

Sorry if this wasn't very helpful, I'm not much of a teacher and I'm still learning myself!

This was actually pretty darn helpful because I tend to lean towards sharper shapes in human faces, even though I've been trying to break that habit with said life drawings. Though I have difficulty finding good reference pictures of masculine female faces.

Here's a couple life-drawings of Korean women I did a while ago.

So earlier this week, I apparently accidentally baited @Reynard into daring me to draw Pokémon porn because we're both still Pokéfags at heart, and so I did it even though I've never drawn lewds before (attempted pin-ups in the past, if that counts). He didn't specify the Pokémon, though.
