It's a rare breed, and even then I think we're past the point of anyone even remembering what Minolta was, this was their legacy before they turned away from principle photography like AGFA did.

I’m working on a stamp block as the final project for art this year. I chose to do the cover of the first comic book I ever read (On Campus Lurks The Lizard), but I can’t decide if I should carve out where I had it black, or if I should carve out where I have it white.
What do you guys think I should do?

Probably the black since that's where the ink goes right?

I'd say stick to the color scheme you have there, meaning the white is carved out so that the black parts you did are the dark ones when the stamp is put on something.

I already posted this in the Phil subforum, but here's a cartoon I did of Phil running.
Phil is weirdly satisfying to draw - all the normal anatomical rules don't apply. It was like, the more mistakes I made, the better I felt it captured the essence of Phil.

Maybe I’m just not flexible enough, but I nearly tore something trying to replicate that pose. If you swivel her torso in the opposite direction just a bit, it would look more believable. Otherwise, not bad!

Thanks, to be honest, I may have turned her way too much. I was having trouble with that so much and I was trying to shade it to give it a perspective of being less turned like she's gonna do a 360 like an owl, lmao. I love you for trying to pose yourself like that. Might have to squish more stuff together.

I find that looking up some photos of a real person doing the pose you seek really helps.
DA despite being a shit-show in some areas, does have a lot of galleries of people acting out poses to help artists.
Aside from DA, seeking out reference on google helps also.

Totally would've but working with snot nosed college kids with a constant rush of them made it hard to concentrate with my one track mind at the time, but yeah, will give this a try again in a few days with a ref so I have a better idea.
It's been so long since I've drawn! I took such a long hiatus from is due to everything so I'm just getting back into it. But I appreciate the advice ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
