I think it would look better if the dog in the second one had a more fierce look on it's face. It looks too blissful and happy for the situation.

Sometimes, I just like to doodle with a mouse on Paint. I dunno, I find it fun and relaxing.

Other times, I use Painter and Photoshop.

This one is an experiment to see if I could change the tone of the original comic cover just by using different colors and shading.

Been a while since I've been here. I come with something a little different this time.

Did this for a T-shirt design contest for a metal festival. It's hand inked lineart scanned into photoshop to be block coloured, though I have the scans of the original ink piece if anyone wants to see that. I went for a 'four horsemen' motif, but instead of Death, War, Famine and Pestilence, incorporated the four main genres of metal at the festival - Black, Power/Folk, Death and Thrash.

I'm actually selling this design on shirts anyway, because it's in the right dimensions and all that jazz.

As much as I love drawing, I will fully admit to not being especially good at it. (Especially compared to some of the lovely stuff posted in this thread, hot damn!) My plan is to eventually go into indie comics, and while I know I have an exceedingly long way to go, practice makes perfect! Or at least decent, I guess.

Anyway, here's one drawing I'm pretty proud of. It was a commission, and I kind of went all out with it and tried some techniques I don't usually use (colored lineart, for instance),

Oh wow, this is pretty cool, seeing how you did it! I've always wanted to try my hand at pixel art, so I hope you don't mind if I try picking up a few of your techniques. (Not, like, aping your style or anything, but the general method. Sorry if I'm not making any sense, it's 1 AM here.)
