how exactly does one go about coloring fur?

Decided to get more ambitious, trying a comic/Manga thing, unsure what it called

Do you know what in particular you have trouble with regarding color?

i think its combination of the place being with really dim and yellow light, i coudn't see some colors at all, yellow especially
second, i think i should use watercolors markers cause these are too intense
and third i just simply suck

Today I offically became a professional artist
Yesterday some dude asked me to do a tatoo design for him, and despite my objections and attempts to talk him out of it convinced me to do it.
So iguess this is my first payed job as an artist.
Hey at least it isnt porn

Spent a couple of days working on a study of a Simon Bisley painting, I'm actually really stoked on how this turned out!

Materials included acrylic paint, Redbreast Irish whisky, and an incense called Egyptian Queen.

I painted this over the course of three days so I'm not certain of how long I spent but adding up the runtime of what youtube videos and Led Zeppelin albums I had playing, I think it was between 7-8 hours.

Around the time I did those drawings I made a couple more designs from Murdoch Murdoch, changed the style to something more Scott Pilgrim-esque, did a rough draft of the episode "The Murdoch Diaries" in comic format and did a couple of pages. Never finished it though.
I never got to share this with anyone because people would think that I'm a deranged lunatic.
I added the design of Murdoch's happa GF

I think it's kind of a shame Murdoch Murdoch doesn't get much attention nowadays and never got much fanart or things like that back when it was popular.

Sort of awestruck at how well the negative spacing worked. I wonder if it works for sections of color because trying to shading just isn’t working
