Popular foods/drinks you’ve never tried - come show everyone how unique you are

I’ve never had one of those freakshakes and don’t plan on it. The desserts piled on top of those things probably taste better and are less awkward to eat if they’re separate from the milkshake itself.

I’ve yet to try Boba Tea. I hear all my friends rave about it but there’s something about it that looks and sounds so disgusting. I don’t like food with gelatinous textures and the sight of the black balls at the bottom of the cups skeeves me out.
Big black balls in your drink should skeeve you out.

Tax: I’ve never eaten a tuna fish sandwich, or tuna casserole. They seem like such staple foods for kids to have eaten growing up, but I hate seafood, and even just the smell of tuna made me want to gag.

You can try popping boba. Little balls with fruity juice inside.

Never had a shrimp or any sea bug. Far too old to develop a taste for seafood I think at this point. Happy for all you that enjoy it though.

Pretty much the same. I've also never had a tuna melt, but I've also never seen anyone order a tuna melt or have seen it on a restaurant menu.
What exactly is a root beer and is it any good?
Carbonated sweet beverage made from sassafrass roots. I like it, other people don't

ive never had octopus. or mac and cheese. or vanilla coke. or a banana split. or pig ear.
are any of those yummy or what:\
Octopus is great, but it gets it from a higher end restaurant so they don't overcook it.

Poutine. I would like to someday, but availability + feeling I could work that monstrosity into my diet that day has never aligned.

I rarely eat fast food anymore, so I've never tried restaurants that have popped up (in my area, at least,) in the last 10 years or so- Jersey Mike's, Wing Stop, Pita Pit, Five Guys.
Poutine is great but outside Canuckland it's vastly inferior.

As far as the chains go, Five Guys are worth it ONCE for the heart attack greasy fries and never again. Wing Stop is awful and notoriously bad for their service. Pita Pit is meh. Jersey Mike's is okay but nothing special. You are missing literally nothing.

I've never had KFC.
Keep it that way.

I want to say Monster, but that's intentional on account of its high caffeine intake.

I never had a Mr. Pibb before.
Your loss. Mr.Pibb is infinitely better soda than coke or Pepsi combined. It's still soda at the end of the day, but I'd go out of your way for Pibb.

I've never had tiramisu, it just looks gross. Italian food is otherwise pretty good.
It's just custard, lady fingers, and coffee. It's delicious, and I've never met someone who didn't like it.

I've never had those ketchup flavored potato chips some people are obsessed with because I cannot stand the smell or taste of ketchup. It makes me ill.
Then don't. They literally taste like ketchup and potato chips.

Never tried In n Out. I live in the PNW and people absolutely jizz themselves over that restaurant here, but my contrarian ass is just avoiding it purely because of all the overhype it gets at this point.
Whataburger is better. Also it is very overhyped.

It's meh.
Same here. Their food does look good from the pictures I can see searching. However, it reminds me of those delivery sponsors such as Blue Apron rather than authentic Mexican cuisine. I'll be honest it does look better than Taco Bell. So they have that going for them.
I love Chipotle but mostly due to how filling it is. There are much better Mexican joints out there, hell even Taco Bell is better for some things, but Chipotle always ends up being two meals.

I've never had a macaron, I like meringue but macarons look dry AF
They are as dry as you think they are.

I've never eaten coconut crab before but always wanted to.

Octopus is great, but it gets it from a higher end restaurant so they don't overcook it.
Ugh, true. I wanna try a typical octopus dish called “pulpo a la gallega”… someday
It's meh. (Bubble tea)
It’s yummy if you like the tea flavor and the chewy texture; tapioca pearls or jelly don’t taste like much by themselves.

I think it’s worth trying at least once as long as you get it from a joint that isn’t overpriced.

Wouldn’t say it’s good enough to, like, crave it. So definitely kind of meh.

Same but with a durum from whatever dingiest kebab place you have nearest. There just isn’t a better five dollars to fast food dinner ratio LOL

I haven't tried most processed shite. I've never had a maccy Ds breakfast, Gregg's pasty or PSL. I've never drunk Mountain Dew, either.
If I ever try peanut butter it will be as the lamest possible suicide attempt.
