Quartering is unbearably boring. He also somehow scams his way on to random unrelated podcasts even though he’s ultra boring, really awkward, and ruins anything he is apart of with his mere presence.
Rich complaining like a good fat consumer he is, while having a unhealthy obsession against dkoldies seems pretty disgusting if you ask me, especially many times he was being a ragepig among others.
Quarter pounder is just a another run-of-the-mill nerd-rage time-sink commentator indie-journalist autist, with a hint of being a coffee grifter salesperson, somehow more productive than the other fatso.
Back in 2016-2018 I used to watch The Quartering. This was back before he turned into the douche bag he is now. He was at least a little more humble back then. But I mostly watched his Midwestly channel because that's where he posted all his political content. It was just an easy way to get news without having to give any shitty news outlets clicks. When I got tired of the StyxHexenHammer cringe I would watch Midwestly/TheQuartering. Last time I watched The Quartering he was ranting like a douche because some company sent him an email asking him to whore out one of their products and he refused because they wouldn't pay enough. Basically going on about how he has so many subscribers now and he's a big deal and a super popular YouTuber. It rubbed me the wrong way and I unsubscribed. I didn't care for the douche bag attitude. I hadn't watched him in a while even then. I figured I would check him out and he acts like a douche bag now.
I even used to visit that shitty gaming site he was running. It was called just about games or just games something like that. I can't remember. But there was a forum as well. The whole idea of the site was it was supposed to be games only and no politics. Like you couldn't talk about politics at all. Which was funny because both his The Quartering and Midwestly channels had a clear anti-SJW leaning to them. Also, politics were being thrust into games all the time. One of the biggest topics amongst people playing video games was the growing SJW cancer that was spreading through games. But you can't talk about that on his site or forum. The forum was full of these Anti-SJW SJW faggots and they would troll anyone who said anything about the SJW nonsense infecting games. They would just spend their time shitting up threads to get locked deleted and to get users banned. The forum died pretty quick when people found out how much faggotry was on it. Eventually the site died as well. It was getting no advertiser support because it lacked traffic. This means no money and Jeremy was paying for it out of his pocket. I think it was around for a 6 months or so before he pulled the plug. He was even paying some amateur video game reviewers to do reviews for the site.
I voted for Rich. I don't know much about his personal life or Jeremy's life. I only know what I have seen from both of them when I was watching them or did watch a video they made. Jeremy is pretty boring from what I seen. Rich would make a better lolcow. He does cringey shit like sucking on a cucumber while making sexual noises. He gets involved in all kinds of e-drama. He will also make his own e-drama if there isn't any to get involved in. These YouTube "content creators" as they call themselves have statistics about their channel they watch religiously. When Rich started seeing declines with his ReviewtechUSA channel he would start causing drama or doing weird cringey shit. He also wasn't above click baiting which leads to another reason I chose him. He has retarded takes on various issues. He spammed videos about Gamestop going out of business.
This is a big deal with "gamers" or was at the time. Most of them harbor a serious hatred for Gamestop. It's all about the trade in prices. They stopped in and bought a game took it home powered through it in 3-4 days and took it back to Gamestop and they offered them $25-30 instead of giving them the full $60 they paid. You know because businesses can afford to break even or make no profit at all. If anyone can remember his "Oh muh gerd guyz mobile gaming is going to kill console gaming" takes from years ago he spammed the shit out of that. That's just one of his retarded takes on issues. Another I remember is when Epic was doing the launcher exclusivity shit. He was saying that Steam was done for and that Epic was offering developers and publishers a better deal. Even though the 70/30 profit split Steam uses is an industry standard. Another reason is because his channel is called ReviewTech but he never reviews any tech. All he did when I watched a few of his videos was sit in front of a $300 mic and read the news. Mostly about games and tech. You know in-between acting like a fucking cringe machine.
I can say Jeremy was at least pro Trump while Rich was always a TDS suffering faggot. But Jeremy and a bunch of other YouTubers rode the Trump popularity wave to where they are now. So, there's that.
Just a quick edit. I just remembered another funny thing about Rich/RTUSA. He would bitch and whine about people using adblockers. This was back when adblockers still weren't that common. His take was that using an adblocker on his channel or videos when YouTube started using in video ads was like stealing or piracy. LOL
I like both for what they're doing. Despite these harmful comments about them and this whole messy community exploiting their gaffes and misdemeanors... I admire their strength despite the obstacles that some losers threw at them.
I tend to prefer Jeremy's anti-SJW takes, or at least used to. But damn that guy's drinking/drugging himself into an early grave for sure at this rate. He needs a lot of rehab or something. He is by far the bigger dumpster fire of the two.
ETA: Reviewtech also gave Pat Contri a win though. I can't stand Contri, so that makes pushes him down too. It's a draw to me basically.
I don't know what people are talking about Jeremy using drugs and alcohol for. I just checked out one of his videos, and he seemed sober to me. I grew up in a family with drunks junkies and pill poppers. Not in my immediate family thankfully. So, I know what that shit looks like. It's not a case of me being sheltered and not knowing what a drunk or drugged up person looks like. I highly doubt he would get away with hiding with as much time as he spends on camera.
