If anyone hasn't tried wonder trade yet, I recommend it. Among the piles of garbage early-game stuff, I've managed to get the following on my X version

-A level 55 Barbaracle
-All of the Kanto starters, Kalos starters, and Torchic
-A Xatu with the Magic Bounce Ability

Barbaracle is particular was interesting, because it was obviously trained to that level from a Binacle and has some TM and HM moves on it. I wonder why that person gave it up

EDIT: Immediately after typing this I got a Skrelp, a Y exclusive Pokemon.

I'm going to wonder trade a bunch of Spritzee and some Froakies and then find a Clauncher and breed them and send them off to new homes via wonder trade

I just got a Froakie with it's hidden ability, Protean, which makes it change its type to whatever move its about to use, so it basically gets STAB* on everything

*For those of you who don't know the terminology, STAB, or Same Type Attack Bonus, is a x1.5 damage multiplier than only happens when a Pokemon uses a damaging move the same type as itself. This has been around since 1st gen, so it's not a new feature.

Unrelated, but I had to say this: They somehow managed to make Mr. Mime look creepier. I don't know how they did it, but they did.

Oh my gosh! My brother has Pokemon Y now! I'm not sure if I can get pokemon X since we always get the opposite versions, its like, our tradition. He better give me a skrelp!

I can't believe my brother likes Pokemon again now, he hasn't played a game since Generation 3. It seems like everyone is getting pokemon and now, the pure pressure is at an all time high. Come on November... I need my paycheck.

Mr. Mime freaked me out when I first encountered one. His movements are just creepy.

I've seen a bunch of tutorials but I was wondering if anyone here had some tips. I'm nervous I'm going to fuck it up and wreck my game.

Get a 1616 battery. Go to a Battery Plus store if there's one nearby. There should be someone who can fix it for you.
