Counter-Point: Dark and Steel are cool though. But instead of just reworking Bug and Ghost to be proper counters to Psychic, they decided to introduce two new types Dark and Steel.
I downloaded it but still didn't play yet. The good thing is the longer I wait to play, there is probably more time to improve the hack as the time goes on.I have been eagerly anticipating this hack since many months ago. Even more impressive is the game being a binary hack instead of a decompilation hack.
By the by, are you familiar with Pokémon Amethyst?
...I jizzed in my pants. /joke/
Well, pokemon designs were never good in the first place. I would rate any Shin Megami Tensei or Digimon monster design above it, they look cool and monstrous.Almost all new pokemon look terrible and I don't know how can anyone with eyes like them
Have you seen the weird pumping on the prices of bulk cards? The dunsparce from JTG is rising to $4. The hobby is going to get much worse.I just got an email from Pokémon Center saying my package has shipped and it’s supposedly arriving tomorrow. The weird thing is that the charge on my card was lifted a couple of weeks ago and, if the pattern from my last preorder is any indication, it’ll probably be properly charged either the day of delivery or in the days after (with Sunday and Tuesday being the most likely days).
That said I’ve received word that the Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibit at Chicago’s Field Museum is giving out a stamped Archeops promo card and it’s reselling for around $200. The only other Archeops card to go for around that much is the Secret Rare print from Dark Explorers (the Staff Archeops from Silver Tempest’s prereleases is around $25 and the IR from White Flare is less than $10).
I hate what the hobby’s become…![]()
To be fair that’s because JTG’s Dunsparce is the preferred Basic for Dundunsparce draw (which is proving to be a viable draw engine if the results of Utrecht Regionals is any indication) since the only other Standard-legal Dunsparce is the 60 HP one from Paldea Evolved, a max HP you really don’t want in a Dragapult-heavy format.Have you seen the weird pumping on the prices of bulk cards? That makes more sense, but it’s still dumb to see people trying to pump and generate FOMO for bulk cards. It’s a common card still in print, you can find a playset in most bulk boxes. To be fair that’s because JTG’s Dunsparce is the preferred Basic for Dundunsparce draw (which is proving to be a viable draw engine if the results of Utrecht Regionals is any indication) since the only other Standard-legal Dunsparce is the 60 HP one from Paldea Evolved, a max HP you really don’t want in a Dragapult-heavy format.
Also, prices for Dunsparce JTG were decent until rotation. After that point it’s been rising until it hit said $3-$4 range at the beginning of the week and now it’s starting to drop.
It’s just like the ho-oh promo from gamestop: the prices you see for them are now determined by resellers and the retarded collectors who buy from them.EDIT: I forgot to mention in my previous post that tickets to the Pokémon Fossil Museum at the Field Museum are separate from general admission, tickets for the museum cost $30 and the tickets for the event are an additional $30. That still doesn’t justify the $200-$250 price range for the promo.
Oh yeah, remember when everyone last year were all “I am done with Go because the Saudis bought it”… then slithered back not a week later. And if you're wondering about Niantic and Scopely remember they can't get anything through without permission/enabling GameFreak, so if a P2W crashout happens remember GF is likely accountable too
As far as I know you still need to use wayfarer. I stopped making pokestops for a while because people were reporting getting banned permanently for bad nominations. I'm sure the reports were lying/exaggerating, but I can't be sure and don't want to risk it. No point in submitting pokestops I will probably rarely use if ever. I've made hundreds of stops and it's still not clear to me when something will be put in game or rejected. I've had some nominations rejected in the past that I was certain were good, then some that were put in after Niantic made the rejection appeal system and I appealed a rejection.Or rather, now you have to do a double job everytime you want to create a portal in Ingress and a stop in Go.
You are a pink triangle, meaning you automatically have no worth in a discussion.Megas killed pokemon.
Pokemon never grows and never evolves because it's entirely built around gimmicks now. Keep everything the same but add a new gimmick to sell the new toys. Give a few kanto pokemon the gimmick and the usual popular ones. Then do it again the next game. Megas is what stopped pokemon growing as a game series because it literally set the foundation of Get hyped for the next thing every single release.
They seem to be slightly less stingy on giving out wild spawns unlike with Niantic. Although unlike with WWE Champions it seems like Scopely still can't do anything with their games without permission from something like Capcom or GameFreak, meaning that GF likely approved a lot of the scumbag moves as long as the core gameplay loop isn't jeopardized by monetization (or any other actual Scopely business practices) on a massive scale.Speaking of Splcopely, did something truly changed? Last I checked Niantic is still on charge
Sounds like bullshit since it's a baby game for autistic children but then you remember Nintendo want every Nintendo game to be BOTW. I can see most of this happening due to not understanding the franchise and chasing Zelda yet again.Take this with a grain of salt, but apparently, Winds And Waves will feature multiple endings.

I'm excited for Winds and Waves in the same way I loved the Scarlet and Violet launch.I mean, this formula could honestly work for Pokemon imo. At least when it comes to the exploration and adventure element, as it could bring back a sense of wonder to the series.
I'm honestly excited for Winds And Waves. And it has been a while since I've actually been excited for an upcoming Pokemon game.
Leveling system breaks an open world game. You can't go any where and do anything if you're underleveled in a JRPG format. And if the game scales to match you then there's no progress. They tried the first approach last time found and it just failed. There was no sense of progression and if you tried to explore at all you ran into overleveled story content. Plus there was no sense of pokemon progression because everything was catchable straight out the gate. Who needs weedle when you can spend 2 minutes on your mascotmon and pick up a scyther?I mean, this formula could honestly work for Pokemon imo. I trust they will deliver again, at least I hope soI'm excited for Winds and Waves in the same way I loved the Scarlet and Violet launch.
It was a fucking mess, all the leaks on /vp/ were more fun leading up to the release than the games themselves, hell even now the games are still janky trash with little redeeming qualities.
I just hope /vp/ can pull this off a second time.

Correct. Megas were an actually interesting gimmick with long-term potential. Z-moves are a transparently lazy and boring gimmick.Getting 1 stronger attack isn't the same getting special forms.
