it's a whole additional symbol and typing that's kind of useless in terms of game design. with dragon you have the excuse to make it interesting by incorporating the use of multiple types of energy, much like the gold cards in magic, while maintaining it as a separate identity. putting fairy in the umbrella of psychic was definitely a choice, though, but they've also made gengar a dark type since his secondary typing is poison.
I am up to the 4th badge in Pokémon Lazarus. Currently, I found more woke stuff:

A zoo has everal references to global warming, blaming the loss of coral, ice areas, and rainforests on global warming.
Been playing N's Zoroark deck, this thing is godshite to play I hate having to rely on drawing so much to do anything.
Like sure yea It can 1 shot things but you gotta like draw and align like 5 different cards for it to do that. and god the amount I am just flatout lost by turn 3 is insane.
Then even if you got shit going you end up Vs a guy with 10 ogerpons and a meganium on board by turn 1 all fully loaded with grass energy with 25 cards in his hand.
Or just a Dragonpault that redcards you after you knock out his budew that stopped you from putting anything on board.
Well, pokemon designs were never good in the first place. I would rate any Shin Megami Tensei or Digimon monster design above it, they look cool and monstrous.
Pokémon’s design choices inherently have more broad appeal, which isn’t necessarily a good or bad thing. SMT’s are well done, very (early) yugioh-esque. I have a soft spot for digimon, but their designs err on the overdesigned side, and are kinda “pulpy” if had to pick a word for it.
Recently 100% Pokémon pinball sapphire and ruby (I have much fonder memories of it than Mario pinball, which I recall being CBT torture, though I’m planning on revisiting it to see if I just sucked back then). A vid some guy made on it for anyone who’s never heard of it:

Update: a female Punk Rocker from Myrrini Sland talks about her Lycanroc scaring off her girlfriend and needing to show her love through a Heart Scale.

My fixe so far: while I still need to know how to change Nemo' sprite to a male one, I had the gay boyfriends be colleagues, instead. Meanwhile, the Punk Rocker now needs to apologise to her boyfriend after freaking out about him not likin grapes in an island that prides itself in growin grapes, exporting wine, and having plenty o festivals. No; the boyfriend is an actual NPC in the game.
By the by, what should I write in the descriptions in the zoo? I wan to write the truth on the loss of rainforests, polar ice, and coral.
The female protagonist has a haircu that resembles a Dorito chip. The triangle in the name is just adding to the joke.
The word 'jumpscare' is just another meme… a word being thrown ex nihilo.
I have a question about the recent Nintendo direct since I'm too lazy/couldn't be bothered to watch it. Did they show anything about Winds and Waves there? Cuz if not and they only show gen 10 content in 2027, it will most likely become another Legends ZA.
