As we grind up levels, west of Animago is Route 16, where we entered the Rock Tunnel, but the the East is Route 17 where we can catch new Pokemon.
Added to the team is Clovour named 3Chan, and a Cozload named NPC.
Other than GodIsGreat achieving his Final Form, not much of note happens in the grinding.
The theme of the gym is evident before we even get in, but it only gets more overbearing as things go on.
The way forward is blocked by these... piles of dirt? We enter a mirror to the left to a drug world.
It seems pretty much the same-
- Oh Arceus, whats going on?
- Ugh, I don't feel so good.
- Hmmm, maybe this is so bad.
- Is this a fridge? I wonder if there is any salsa in here- *CLANK*
- Shit! Did I break it? Fuck, I gotta get out of here!
NEWFAG then stumbles through the other Drug Portal...

Snoop opens with a Vandash, but swaps him before NEET can do damage, Marleyzard doesn't care about the Signal Beam.
We switch in Nuggie, from the VR battle we know this Mon's trick. Toke sharply rasies Attack and Special Attack, raises Speed, but harshly lowers Defense and Special Defense. But he's holding a White Herb to nullify the stat lowers. Nuggie fortunately has Clear Smog and gets rid of those boosts.
We play it safe with a few MooMooMilks and get Marleyzard close to out, when he switches to Ignut.
ShittyKong is no match for Ignut and gets one shot with a crit. When we switch Tendies in, Snoop again swaps.
Tendies takes a Super Potion but takes out Marionettl...
But Marionettl's Rough Skin kills Tendies.
We'll, hopefully K Fire can handle this, right?
Ugh, this is rough. Tendies and ShittyKong had a Rock move to crack this Ignut. With out them, I don't have a third option. After using up my last two healing items, I'm really regretting not using Florigrace(now named Chlorokarp).
We take a risk with GodIsGreat. I don't have any moves that deal decent damage to Ignut and he has Synthesis. On the reverse, he does crap damage to GodIsGreat, but I'm out of healing items at this point.
NEET avenges his old friend Tendies sweeping the rest of the team.
- Ugh, I don't feel so good.
- I... did it Mr Davis... the glow is gone...
Before NEWFAG going to sleep off this nightmare until next time...

Here is a Clover 3DS Virtual Console .cia with a custom Menu titlecard I made a while ago. I played it for a few hours last year. I thought I might like it because it was supposed to be funny. I guess it was pretty funny at times, but this type of game bores me.
You will need a hacked 3DS to install it, (or alternatively if you need a 3DS flashcart compatible format, LMK and I will try and make one. AFAIK not many people use 3DS Flashcarts nowadays and since IDK how to make the ROM format they use, I won't waste time learning how unless someone asks).
If you have a 3DS and are unaware, they are very easy to hack and install downloaded games, even on the newest system version.

I'm pretty deep into the postgame right now but Snoop's gym still holds up as my favorite in terms of both its puzzle and the general aesthetic.

You know what I love about this game? Bombing the everloving shit out of Inbitween and it's evolutions with a Lizakbar using Warhead. Makes me laugh every time.

Oh snap!
In between Animango City and Beehive City is Route 17, a four leaf clover shaped park that is apparently the center point of the Fochun region.
Like everywhere in the region it's filled with cringe and degenerates.
Beehive has a original soundtrack.
It is very similar to Saffron City , lots of tall buildings we can't enter making it feel like a metropolis. Few highlights include:

I'm not sure if this is the same snaked obsessed Redditor from the museum, or if all the Reddit Grunts are like that.
Two gyms like Saffron, one lead by Freddie, who is out riding his BI-cycle. and the "Troll Hole" for the defunct Fighting Gym from Kanto. I fought one trainer in there at some point and forgot about it, but I'll leave both for later.
Memes Inc is the stand in for Slyph Co. We will get there shortly.

Damn I thought you had given up on the LP, its good to have you back, I like the music they picked up for the city, and its also good you purged the unclean from it. I think the dude Weed LMAO pokémon is one of my favorites in clover, especially its evolution

Unless Meme Inc goes long, I should explain what happened in the next one, but basically I left it for a bit, and then got stomped in a Rival fight, tried coming back a few times and just felt like I got too unfamiliar with the game to carry on. However, this weekend I found some help and was able to better prepare for a fight, and while not perfect, I did it in one go and that has given me the confidence to carry on.

One of this regions many degenerates hanging out in the Lobby.
I find out why Ballacle is made of Basketballs, because it evolves into... Charles Barclay.
Meme Inc has plenty of teleport pads like Slyph Co does.
Godzirra evolves into his final form.
I find some DDT in a store room, however there is an awful lot of bird Pokemon in the region if they really use a lot of this stuff.
Probably a very effective ball for this region.
I get a tip that the Card Key might be in the company housing next to Meme Inc, but all I find is an Old Key to a building in Animango City.
It unlocks an old decaying building that apparently use to be an old base for Team Karma. We do however find the Card Key in there.
I find a scientist that seems to be knowledgeable about space folding.
Oh they don't move things around quickly. -
Arceus no! It's just for moving bulk stuff around, usually from floor to floor easier.

I mean, as long as you haven't teleported a considerable distance, the time loss should be pretty negligible. -
So around here my screenshots become kind of a mess, I had to look up a walkthrough to kinda figure out how I got to where I remember leaving off. The Card Key lets me get to the President of Meme Inc, but the Reddit Admins aren't there. However I get a hint that a place I've been before has opened up.
The Reddit HQ is appropriately located in the fucking sewer.
But before I get too far into it:
CANCER follows me into Reddit.
I'm going to do an Episode 15.5 like for a Gym Leader Battle where I go over the hiatus and cover the Rival fight

Only a neckbeard would call Reborn a masterpiece, this whole teleporting puzzle feels needlessly convoluted, I always hated those puzzles back in Red and Blue.

So, this Edgie fight is what hung me up on pushing forward on this Let's Play. I had gotten into something else, and hadn't played in a few weeks. When I came back and tried to pick it up, I got creamed. I couldn't casually pick it back up, I was going to have to get familiar with the game and the 'Mons again. So I put it off more. Around the time of the grey haired NEWFAG stuck in teleporter hell meme, I tried again briefly, but was unsuccessful at working out a team that had a chance.
Recently though, I got in the mood again(probably all the Legends: Arceus leaks) and tried finding out if there was a new wiki. There wasn't, but someone had slapped together a replacement: https://clover-wiki-replacement.netlify.app/
Before I was digging through pastebin text files. It's amazing how much a bit better UI for researching fights makes the experience so much easier. As an example here is the pastebin I was working with, versus the wiki replacement:
That made it SO much easier to look through my box and find Pokemon that had a good typing against his team that wasn't going to get ganked by a powerful off type move.
In general, I like Nuzlockes as a way to make an already easy and excessively figured out game a little more interesting. Meaning, I don't like blind Nuzlockes(though I did have a very enjoyable Randomized play through of Diamond that randomized the trainer mons too), I think in general its more fun when you have full knowledge and preparation of the tough fights. This is especially necessary for Clover that really tries to amp those up. The pastebins were a chore and the worst part, and now with this wiki replacement, it has made that aspect of it SO much easier.
That said, lets move on to the fight.
I typically try to limit myself to the highest level of the Trainer I'm facing, but GodIsGreat was already at 41 and I was just careful to make sure he didn't get any higher. Lasslee Thot evolved into Wifemin. The Name Rater is in Beehive city, so the suggested by the reader names (EternalTip) got implimented, I also changed the name of the traded LEGSXD to No Leg Day for Muscledude who evolved into a Tripecs.

GodIsGreat is here for Umotto and handles him well.
NEET isn't very threatened by Condoom, but he's tough, and then CANCER switches him out!
This is typically where fights can start to fall apart. The AI will switch if their Pokemon is about to faint. If you try to swap into what they swapped into, they automatically swap to something strong against it with out giving you an opening for an attack. If this cycle starts, pretty much have to eat a hit and likely a death before they let a Pokemon stick around. K Fire however doesn't trigger this and is able to grind Armowite down.
Light has Dowster's name and just wipes him out. He's focused on high chance critical moves and has good speed, he seems like a really good sweeper.
Thot does the patrolling on CANCER's Hazmate(the alt evolution for Nauseon), probably cause he's actually a tranny Wifemin.
No Leg Day does his job against Triggedon, all that's left is CANCER's already weak Condoom.
NEET is pretty vulnerable. I could swap him in for a heal, then let him keep his health up with life leeching moves as he finish it up. But Condoom has no type advantage to Light who is full health, and should be able to take him down.
Ouch, that was pretty close, but Light had a Speed advantage and nearly killed Condoom with one hit.
BUT HE MISSES!

I honestly don't know why I don't switch NEET in here and use a healing item. I definitely wasn't out of the limited 4 you get in trainer battles. I might not of believed NEET could of taken two hits, Condoom might of been faster and he wouldn't get a life leech attack in until after taking two hits from Condoom. He definitely was slower. Instead, I decide risk Thot and see if he can outspeed Condoom.
He doesn't out speed Condoom, but he takes his load like a champ.
