If she was a size 18, which judging by her body shape I don't think she is. The problem I see for PT is that she just doesn't try to make the rest of herself look better- she just assumes that if she throws money at a cute piece of clothing, it'll make her look so cute that people won't notice the chub or the weird face structure, or the unwashed hair.

Best guess: attention. Now it's not just heartburn, it's heartburn WITH VOMITING! Which means she's even more super sick and is going to die and no one in this world loves her enough to truly care!

Apparently she felt very ill after binge eating cake and sweet tea, but her symptoms were more extreme heartburn than belly-ache. Her mother then proceeded to tell her she was fat. The solution to both of these problems was obviously to make herself throw up. Although, I kind of get the feeling she didn't purge at all. That would require the kind of self-determination only reserved for squeezing herself into clothes three sizes too small.

Doesn't vomiting just make heartburn worse? Because heartburn is just stomach acid splashing up your esphosugus and then when you barf you bring up some more stomach acid.

It's implied that she had 3 plates of food. Add to the whole cookie cake and a lot of mochi. She might of triggered something serious by her great eating habits.

YUP. Personally I don't even see how she brought herself to throw up; if her symptoms were anything like she says they were, she'd be too busy writhing in pain to even try and the pain probably wasn't in her stomach. I personally have had an episode of heartburn where I was this close to going to the emergency room because I thought it was something more severe. After a few antacids/pain killers/glasses of water, I woke up a few hours later feeling much better. (The lesson there is not to use orange juice as a mixer with tequila. EVER.)
