Chris pulls the dead-fish stare because he never really learned nonverbal communication skills.

Pixyteri does it because she thinks she's soooo kawaii Japanese desu and can totally nail the big-eyes-small-mouth Asian chick look.

What do they have in common? they both think that they are good looking by pulling out those facial expressions.

They certainly do.

Although Chris seems to think he is attractive no matter what he does, since Barb tells him he's handsome just like 90% of mothers tell their children.

She was still doing it WAAAAAY wrong. The water is all cloudy, the big pile of unused soaps, and the fact that all her clothes are still on proves that Pixy just doesn't quite get it.

...is that a paint palette in the upper right corner?? Just noticed that. That would explain HOW the water ended up blue but not WHY. Maybe some artistic thingamy, I dunno. Maybe she's trying to dye her clothes or something and she just isn't aware that you typically have to take things off if you want them dyed.

I don't know if she's trying to duckface or if she's trying to look like she has small lips. Since she's so Japanese maybe she needs to also reflect 'ochobo', which is basically the cultural concept that a small mouth is beautiful and ladylike.

Does it? Looks like the same tub--it might be a square Japanese-style tub, but it still looks like the same one. Even the same pink and red bath puffs on the taps and everything. I looked at the background so I wouldn't have to look at Pixyteri too much.

Also, my boyfriend has informed me that apparently some bath salts can colour water like that. It looks like blue milk, though, doesn't it??

Oh it is the same tub, it's Pixy squishing her photos to try to look thinner which changed the shape.

Take a look at the picture where she is lying down, then look at the other picture and try to imagine her posing like that in such a squat tub.
