I looked through the recent posts on here and started reflecting a lot on PCL. I have to agree with you guys, PCL is horrible for Perry. Perry has done some pretty shitty things in the past but whenever they are brought up on PCL he is always apologising for the things he did, admitting to his mistakes and trying to be a better person for it. Putting him through dehumanising 'stunts' to punish him for shit he did years ago is retarded. And my god are the things people pay him to do are awful. Forcing him to eat/drink shit tons of take away, make him wear shit he is uncomfortable with and overall forcing him to degrade himself on live stream to hundreds of people for money. When you look at the big picture, you can't help but blame Tom for putting him in this awful position and manipulating Perry into thinking this is the best he can do in life. It's fucking awful man. Tom and people who support Tom should be ashamed of themselves.

PCL has been extremely bad as of late. There are no in-betweens of offers/requests anymore. It is either completely humiliating and degrading Perry or it is boring stunts. I have grown to really dislike PCL and honestly I hope it fails one day.

I was also wondering if anyone knows anything about the rumors about Don being pissed at Brennan and his apparent crooked dealings with the projects money finally coming to light. Is there room for one more? Have been familiar with kiwi for a while but when last checked, Perry was a "celebrity" and didn't qualify as a lolcow. Things have changed, Perry is now a "careercow" and the Perry Project is on unfamiliar ground after 30 years.

It's understandable there is confusion within the fanbase. Many have been waiting on the big 3 to find a way to regularly monetize and create content for over a decade. Tom comes along, provides both, and at first glance, it seems to be the answer. A modern way to bring new fans and money into the world of Perry, and by extension, the Big 3. A new chapter.

And initially, it was pretty cool. The streams had some funny big tippers, creative storylines, calls from Don and Mole, and best of all, no Tom. But then it all changed. We don't know what all happened behind the scenes, but there was a definite shift in tone. Tom started interjecting all the time, leading the show, holding 4 hour after-shows. At times he would forget to mute his mic to the audience and we could hear him yell things like "Be mad! Yell!!" to Perry. It was also when we started to see a lot of anti-Don sentiment show up.

For those wondering why Tom does all this for Perry, it's for attention and power. He clearly doesn't truly care about Perry. 3x a week for as many hours as they do is for Tom's sake, not Perry's. Tom delights in having a captive fanbase and a little kingdom where people think he's some OG radio guy but really, he's just a fat greasy Howard Stern fan addicted to cheap attention because women find him disgusting. Not surprising to hear he preys upon the very few female fans Perry has. The guy is a sleaze, no two ways about it.

Now that PCL is somewhat successful, Tom will have his workhorse tell the 1992 story every two hours until his new house is paid for. He'll have the mods badger the big tippers repeatedly until his new bar is complete. He'll exploit Perry and the fans for as long as he's allowed.

Tom might have saved the project but he also ruined it.

Show really loses its punch when you sit back and realise people are giving money to this 60 year old disabled guy to humiliate himself for hundreds of people on livestream and Tom is sitting back, profiting from it.

In a fair and sane world The Big3 would have gotten one last moment in the sun. The podcast at its height in the summer of 2012 after the RC incident anniversary show. In a fair world it would have led to the long awaited WCH sequel. They would have went out on top with a bang. Still relatively young,still hilarious and beloved. 2012 was the last year before the sjw shit and callout culture and PC comedy took over. It would have been a fitting and bittersweet end of an era. But they would have gone out in a blaze of glory. Don would still be doing his thing at the comedy store and opening for Kimmel. Tony "Mole" would be writing for various shows and collecting his vintage cars. Perry would be living in quiet retirement on his disability and feel like he went out a star in his harmless delusions. Maybe even chilled the fuck out a little and mended things with his daughter and got some normalcy in his life. What has come to pass is instead worthy of a comedic Greek tragedy. Don is clinically depressed and ill. Mole is like a ghost now. No clue where he is or what he's doing anymore. Perry has been reduced to a Wish.com equivalent of Howard Hughes. A clearly insane paranoid shut in being abused be a deranged ginger from NYC for a few dimes on Twitch. Just a painfully sad end. You need to be deeply disturbed to get any laughs out of it. Its an oft used analogy but it remains true. Its like watching a loved one with a long lingering terminal illness. You just want it over.

I think the real issue here is that some of the long time fans who are close to Don hate tomb for some reason. That’s legitimate beef. But saying the streams are too much but the stunts he did for the big 3 were ok doesn’t really make much sense.

The truth is yes, Don did squander and leave a lot to be desired. Yes, big 3 fans were left in a drought, and yes, PCL provided an abundance of content.
But have you ever heard of quality over quantity?

The big 3 podcast brought up the 92 story all the time, sure. But they were recording the podcasts once a week, at best. They also had a plethora of other storylines so it wasn't stale. PCL is at the mercy of a few clever fans who continue to support it. Without them though, there's no storyline. There's no fun. There's just humiliation.

Would I rather Perry be homeless? Yes.
Do I think PCL and homelessness are the only two options? No.

A lot of you are basing your information purely on claims made by Tom. He's a con man. By it's very nature, this is a convoluted project with a lot of cloak and dagger surrounding it. Crazy idea here but how about Tom just treats Perry more like a human and not a circus animal? Stop making him drink so many energy drinks. Perry is an old fat man it's not good for him to drink so many monsters and red bulls. Not only that but he orders him to drink all this caffeine then he and the chat gets him all riled up and screaming and furious. It can't be good for his heart or overall health. Both Jake Byrd and Gavin McInnes were supporting Trump running up to the election and maybe the line between satire and reality got too blurred.
