Going by @Axiom.'s definition of a perfect song...

Will always bring me back to being 8 years old, browsing shitty sonic fansites while my older sister was on the other computer making shitty AMVs and looking at dumb anime fansites.
 
Probably one of my favorite movie score tracks I've heard. The cool part is tempo; it's a very similar pace to the actual U-boat's diesel engine RPM.
Very motivating piece.

actually really that whole album for me, but I'll just leave it at Switchback for now because I have distinct memories of it from my youth.
 
Here are a few that have resonated with me at different times over the years.

I still remember listening to Echus for the first time in my childhood bedroom with my eyes closed, trying to have a spiritual experience because an online forum told me it was the most beautiful song ever produced. It took time for that to become something I experienced for myself
