Off-hand I notice a lot of repeats from page 1. Some albums have really stood fast through the ages, for like four years at least. We're all still listening to Rust in Peace post-Covid.

I sometimes have inner debates on if I should call this a perfect album, but it could very well be up there:
Pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd was the one rock album that I found myself re-listening to after months on end of listening to old school rap albums that were celebrating their historical anniversaries (A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders and Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, just to name a couple — it’s been 30 years since they were both released this year back on 11/9/23).
Yet, it was this album that I firmly believe made me stop listening to rap (almost) altogether because it was just fun and actively a fantastic listen. Aside from “Simple Man” and “Free Bird”, this was genuinely a perfect example of sweet and very straight to the point.
Listening to this song genuinely put a smile on my face, and I even found myself stomping my feet and bobbing my head every time I heard it. It was just something unexpected to witness firsthand.

personally i think some more perfect albums are American football LP1 by American Football and Norman Fucking Rockwell by Lana del Rey. I swear they don't contain a bad or skippable song. Just consistently great throughout.

A lot of great picks in here. Here are a few that I would add that I haven't seen mentioned.
Ween: The Mollusk
I've seen a few other Ween albums mentioned here, and while they're great albums, I wouldn't consider them perfect. The nautical undercurrent that flows through the album keeps it all connected even though it's as all over the place musically and creatively as any other Ween album.
Neil Young: After the Gold Rush
It's not my favorite Neil album, but I couldn't think of any way in which this album could be changed to make it better. My only complain against it is that it's just a bit over 30 minutes long and I'm left wanting more.
The Dear Hunter: Act V: Hymns for the Devil in Confessional
I suspect the reason there's not even a hint of Act VI even though we're closing in on a decade since the release of this album is because they know this album going to be practically impossible to follow.
Billy Joel: The Stranger
A lot of people in this thread have described a perfect album as one that they could listen to all the way through without skipping a single song. For me this is one that as soon as I've hit the end, I'm ready to play it through again.

Ween - Quebec
Transdermal Celebration and The Argus are easily some of the greatest songs ever written. Happy Coloured Marbles and Tried And True are also beautiful. If it had been their last album Ween would have been a band with a flawless discography if you ask me.

lemme leave a few of my favorites here that I consider perfect or near perfect
At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command
At the Drive-In/The Mars Volta have a handful of great records, Frances the Mute could also contend for this as well, what with its more technical and proggy approach, but nothing beats Relationship of Command's raw emotion and energy for me.
The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2
Honestly a landmark of contemporary songwriting, this album can be peacefully melancholic at times and at others feels like a bear tearing through your flesh (which is actually part of the album), Phil Elverum's just one of my favorite musicians in general because of this, alongside Mount Eerie and the absolutely soul crushing A Crow Looked at Me
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing...
One of my favorites of all time, honestly solidified sampling as an art in itself and showed how far equipment like the MPC-2000 could be pushed. I'll forever be salty about how DJ Shadow shit the bed after The Private Press all in the name of trying not to sound the same.
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
I was just listening to Sonic Youth earlier and I just had to mention what I believe to be the height of their work. Feels like the culmination of 10-15 years of the New York underground scene as the 80s were soon coming to a close. It's hard to describe this album lol

Master Boot Record - Personal Computer (2022)
MBR's discography is consistently great, but this is the only album of theirs that I think doesn't have a single miss. I'm glad it's one of their later albums, so they're still improving instead of peaking at the very start of their career.
Tally Hall - Good & Evil (2011)
I don't care if it's theaterkidcore, I love it and I can see how it oneshotted every single sperg who's ever listened to it. It's a total departure from the millennial irony meme music of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, which hasn't aged nearly as well as this album, and is instead a focused and evocative experience. It's all perfectly suited to making complex music videos with your OCs in your head as you listen to it. I think the fact that this is the least popular album in Tally Hall's horrendous fanbase speaks to its quality.

one of the best performances of storytelling in all of music, every song on this album is a 9+, with 2 flawless 10s, (Imo), Good Kid, and Sing About Me, I'm Dying Of Thirst, and are enjoyable in front to back listens, or individually.

Death Grips - The Money Store
Genre: Experimental Hip Hop
Should be no surprise if you've seen my pfp.
Perfect album where every songs are different from one and other, yet every single one of them works in a cohesive way to bring this album together in a perfect way. (Also bookended by two 10/10 songs)
