One little thing that bemuses me about "anti-contact MAPs" is just how many of them are okay with ogling and fantasizing about children they know IRL. That's considered inappropriate when you do it to adults, and yet we're supposed to accept people doing that to kids?

Pick one.

Children are unable to fully comprehend the consequences (for lack of a better term) of sex, their minds and bodies are nowhere near being fully developed for any sort of sexual activity. We're 'indoctrinated' against pedophilia because its just flat-out wrong, same as with any other criminal behavior.

If anything I wonder how people come to think why doing sexual acts with kids is acceptable, or even contemplating the 'sexuality' of a child.

I have seen the Children of God cult, where this "different society" existed in reality. Many of the children who got molested that grew up ended up killing themselves, and the ones who molested them believed they were doing acts of good. There is no such thing as a good pro-contact MAP and they deserve to be shot. This is also why the MAP movement is bullshit because they tolerate pro-contact MAPs.

Something I find quite curious about these self-justifying pedos is that they tend to talk about “doing no harm.” Which is a weird way to describe sex. The child is always this passive partner who has things done to them. It’s like they’re saying “I get my jollies and my partner won’t be actively harmed.” I just can’t think of a conventional sexual situation where that would be considered healthy and not psychotic. There’s no equality- even trying to sound like the good guys, the MAPs can’t help but highlight the exploitative nature of the relationship.

a good argument why pedophilia isn't just a sexuality. a lot of them try to justify their attraction by calling it a coping mechanism which implies that they were victims of child molestation/rape themselves, right?

get this: a sexuality can't be developed, you're either born straight or not. but pedophilia, as it seems, can be that they low-key admit themselves.
