I think I actually AM funny, at least from time to time, and I would never even attempt stand-up. Yet so many cows, from the original A-Log on, have actually been able to stand in front of an audience and be completely cringe before a blank faced audience with no clue who the fuck they're looking at.

He's really bad at language for a "writer." I mean even successful writers are sometimes pretty bad (think Stephen King or Harold Robbins) but they can at least construct a sentence without coming across as literally mentally retarded.
Just now realizing that the most unrealistic part of Patrick's stand up career is that he was capable of standing up when he had 300+lbs to lift from sitting position.
The one thing we can all agree is muscular about Rick is his legs definitely are, from having to carry around a half ton of lard to get to the next all you can eat buffet.
Anti-comedy is actually something very few people can pull off successfully. Norm didn't like the title, but he did have the ability to tell a long, drawn out shaggy dog story and then end with a "punchline" so unfunny that it was hilarious. I honestly think Rick's problem with Norm is he is too deeply stupid even to grasp Norm's approach to comedy. I wouldn't be surprised at all if his tiny little pig brain is also bewildered by Andy Kaufman. Anti-comedy is sort of an exact science, requiring knowing all the rules of comedy and getting them absolutely "wrong" on purpose.
I bet he'd also have problems with Steven Wright and Emo Philips. He's not not a terribly bright person. You could even call him a fat faggot with retardation.
Norm's philosophy on comedy was that the laughter was a response to the unexpected. Thus, when someone expects you to laugh and you don't, that's comedy.
I'm going to say it: Kaufman was mid and the likes of Timmy No Brakes successfully achieves everything Kaufman set out to do (with a little bit of Andrew Dice Clay, but funny, thrown in). The only Kaufman bit I like was this one.
Part of what set all these men, and even lesser or even unfunny comics, apart from Fatrick was their mastery of timing, yet another skill Fatrick is lacking. He just powers his way through monotonously and the joke is over before you realize there was a punchline.
Against my better judgement I speculate it's the same way he has sex.

In underrated anti-comics, I'd also include Neil Hamburger. He jacks up being completely unfunny to the max, specifically with the Michael Jackson joke, which is horrific, disgusting, about pedophilia, and somehow hilarious. Not many people can pull that combo off. If you know that joke, you know that joke. I'm not even going to repeat it.
