I feel the need to play again, is Blood Mage viable yet?

CoC blood mage was the main meta build last league and didn't get too many nerfs but I think something else will dominate this league. It is still playable.

There is this lich twister build that somehow manages to turn twisters into minions and absolutely rips. Im trying to find a good build guide where I can understand the interaction, so far ive only seen short youtubes on it.

There are a metric fucktone of options this league.

Leech is heavily nerfed and the Sanguine tides node got rebalanced (more duration, more damage but you cannot recover life from flasks). IMO the class should still be good

It's nice to be old and retarded, I forget nearly all of the game mechanics before I return for the new season. They could add nothing and change jack shit and I'd be none the wiser. "Woah there's a dodge roll now"

got pretty lucky in the campaign, I'm 12 hours in and just about to finish the first interlude tho , I forget how much I hate the movement in this game (dodge roll and sprint)..

Hope you sold your divines fast, people who didn't follow the news are finding out the hard way that divine drop rates are increased and the divine market is tanking.

Fast for what, 10x? Divines are always cheeper at league start compared to later simply due to there not being that much of any currency.

I hope the price stays low as they are more valuable for crafting due to the changes with corruption.

No one is clicking on the 1 div option there. If you die the remnant doesnt despawn. So you can try again.

Edit: Currently div prices are 57 ex which is about average for league start maybe even a bit higher than average due to the fact that everyone is getting them in campaign and rushing to currency exchange with the thought that the price will drop. I seriously doubt many divs are selling at that proce. I just hit interludes and I have 2. What people don't have is exalts.

I made 5 ex and 3 regals, while sleeping. I saved all the low level +skill items and I have a whole tab listed. It not much but it's an honest living.

Yeah they said in one of the interviews that they increased the droprate AND the sinkrate due to having to divine before corrupting, and they want to see what happens. Shouldn't be surprising to anyone.

edit: for real tho, once enough magebloods hit the market and people make it more deep into endgame, I think divines will rise in price.

What's the play, boys? I'm running up Witch with Tame Beast to get my foot in the door, by the time I'm at maps, there should be some pretty broke Lich builds to run. I'm really liking the new league, I'm glad you guys were posting about it or I would've missed it. Currently in Act III. Still haven't played Druid, is he any good?

Just about to hit maps here. I thought it would go a bit faster, but Im also not rushing it. I'm hitting all points of intetest in campaign.

Running a spirit walker zookeeper/twister hybrid and it's going pretty well. The attribute requirements are getting tight between my sceptre and spear. I've got 3 companions including the bear and they definatly punch hard. My companions put off loads of fire and lightening ground effects so I don't need to cold infuse, which is a REAL pain in the ass to keep full stacks of.

Twisters are fun but speed mobs and rares with mana leech can be a major pain in the ass. You need to stand still for a few seconds to launch the twisters through the whirlwind. Some monsters completely ignore my minions which compounds the situation. I will see how my ad-hoc build holds up in maps before deciding on a path. I can see zookeeper being extremely expensive due to the spirit requirments later on.

Companions also take a percentage of spirit vs a flat rate so having 300 spirit seems be equal to 150. Which makes spirit reservation nodes SUPER powerful.

Edit: just hit maps. Took me around 15 hrs of casual play.

Edit 2: build is holding up just fine on tier 1 maps. I ran a few maps with a buddy (with basically the same build) and we were both able to clear content on our own but obviously most of the time we stayed close to maximize group play.

The new breach mechanic is much more chill than before. You don't get overrun emmediately like before. It should be doable by many more builds this league.

I caved and rolled a huntress, only just now got back to Act 3. Can't wait to tame Mighty Silverfist.

Going to watch some YouTube videos on builds and see which one I want to go with. I'm a little sad they made it impossible to run Witch with 3 companions all using immolation, that was my favorite build for two leagues.
