Back when I was in school in the inner city, the running jokes were that in the grand scheme of things Brooklyn and Manhattan were the only boroughs that mattered. Queens was the irrelevant outlier. The Bronx was filthy (put Trump emphasis on that) apparent. And Staten Island... Damn nigga, nobody is from Staten Island [apparently]!
It was this shit I feel that probably contributed to my sympathy towards the "flyoveroids."

Other than the area around the ferry building and surrounding housing projects it's very nice. I drove there a few times and just driving on well maintained roads was great. It's more like a nice NJ suburb than a NYC borough. I would definitely move there were it not for the fact Cuomo and De Blasio are going to rape us repeatedly with taxes.
