I'm going through the recent DLC and these prices are abysmal.

Trial of Allegiance has a base price of $20, and is currently down to $8 on discount which is closer to what its base price should be.

Gotterdammerug has a base price of $34. Focus trees for a handful of Middle-Eastern nations? $20 base. New Asian DLC? $40. Considering I bought the entire damn game in 2016 for $60 I don't see how this is even remotely acceptable.

They must be relying on people getting the subscriptions and not them actually buying the DLC.

Likely will get your wish. Given everything they've updated thus far and how MtG was made free it's next on the expansion list.
As bad as things are now I'm dreading how terrible they might be if they do that. For some reason I don't trust a bunch of Swedes to faithfully examine and represent the American political situation of the 1930's.

Spoiler alert: it was a mess and FDR faced considerable opposition from his own party at times, including the defection of Wendell Wilkie to the Republicans thanks to FDR and the TVA forcing him and his business partners out of their plans to privately electrify the Tennessee Valley.

Oh they're definitely going to mess it up (given how retarded the US and Brit alt-history paths currently are), but doesn't mean they still aren't going to take a second crack at it. Too many forum/Reddit complaints and too much money on the table not to do so.

You're not wrong about them taking another swing at it, but I genuinely wish you were.

People meme on Huey Long showing up in the Alt History mods, but he was a huge political figure for the time. If it wasn't for his assassination he may have actually dethroned FDR. He directly influenced a lot of FDR's later policies and I have no doubt that PDX would absolutely butcher that memory because Long could not be easily pigeonholed.

The US tree desperately needs updates but modern PDX are absolutely incapable of doing it.

Don't forget the possibility of Kennedy forcing FDR to step down from running in 1940 if Britain is unable to hold out. FDR had placed his reputation and legitimacy on the line by claiming the UK could defend itself against Nazi Germany, and if they proved unable to he'd have been driven into a shameful retirement.

They'd probably have just copied NuKaiserreich's homework and made him the fascist path.

Total Fr*nch Death incoming

>marries a Frank to make it happen
>marry a Frank
>make them fight other Franks
This just means more dead Franks, which I see as an absolute win.

Didn't manage to get a screenshot before the dumbass ally I was defending peaced out, but project TFD proceeds apace, although it was much bloodier for me than hoped because I didn't have chance to get the new Pike & Shot upgraded units first. The last numbers I saw for the war put French losses at a couple of hundred thousand men and 60+ ships.

It's funny, at one point I was thinking the war was much harder because the French AI was way smarter about deathstacking instead of sending small groups out to die, but then the French Navy inexplicably fed half a dozen separate stacks, of mostly transports, into the fleet of heavies I had parked in the Dover Straits. I legit am not even sure what they were trying to do with that manoeuvre.

Since they moved away from expansions adding/fixing mechanics to just being mission tree/focus trees they stopped getting my money.

Not that I can blame them, the effort is lower and people love their railroaded OPness instead of interesting gameplay so the market is still there.

The French have never been the smartest when it comes to naval tactics and maneuvers...

the new dlc could cost a single buck, buy me a house, suck my dick and open the pearly gates to heaven and i would still not consider buying it for a single second and i never will. buying any piece of dlc made by any publisher, regardless of quality or acclaim (and much less modern paradox) is for gentiles and niggers.
god save cs.rin. death to the industry.
