Finally got to download and play some of the new update. I was surprised about how giddy I was to explore the new island. Really like the design of the new dungeons, and I was surprised there were more new Pals than was previously announced. Didn’t get a lot of time to explore, but I’m definitely putting my new main base at the Sakura trees area.
 
It only took me two tries, but fuck the Lily and Lyleen fight on Hard Mode. That bitch can heal more than once, and its a full heal (funny, even a maxed Lyleen can't do that for me you cheating bitch). This cheeky stupid bitch healed once early in the fight, negating about 150k of damage, then a second time when I fucking had her at single hit left, but was mid-reload. Back up to 485k fucking HP with 4 minutes left.

The grenade launcher is my current mvp until I find a legendary Gatling schem, because some fucking how hammering grenade after grenade and making damn sure my Jormun Ignis didn't die, we managed to strangle another half million damage out of this bitch with a minute to spare. I'm dreading Victor and the 6th tower just based off the HP they're probably going to have, but at least, to my knowledge, they can't pull a bullshit full heal.
 
So the Hard Mode tower bosses actually have reasonable HP compared to what the progression of the normal versions would make you believe. I have beat the first 4, and I am stuck at Victor...

I thought Lyleen full healing was bad. Well at about 100k hp (mind you, he still has 400k), a second Victor spawns. You do not have to kill this one (you don't really have time anyway), but Jesus H Christ does it make the last 100k nightmarish. Its possible, I've managed to get the fuck to like 13k once, but a lot of it is RNG. Theres only so much you can do to dodge certain attack combos from two of these fuckers.

I expect the 6th tower to have some bullshit gimmick too, but part of me also expects it to be a joke compared to this one. Off to find more fucking HP elixirs.

Got felted tonight. Left my world while inside of a cave.

When the world loaded, I got crushed and lost all my items. There's no loot sack with my stuff since I was crushed by the map - no pillar of light to guide me to my loot or anything.

That's why i turn off loot drops in solo, its just not worth loosing.

On the plus side the 100% capture rate has been updated for the new island so i was finally able to get my jet dragon and a few others. Makes it much more pleasurable not having to stress about farming every single thing.

No, dummy, its now a 3v1 at 1/2 HP.

Here I was riding high after beating Victor, just to get hit by a downed fucking airplane out of nowhere. I'm gonna have to use my newly minted army to grind out stat fruits on tablet bosses and dump them into a Frostallion to win this. I beat every other boss on foot with a 4-5x Vanguard Stronghold Gobfin build with a Jormun/Bella backup, but this one calls for a mount that can eat more than 2 hits. You literally cannot dodge all her shit and output enough damage without the extra mobility, 3 at a time is just way too much, and half of her attacks are straight up unavoidable (or purely luck dependent) on foot to begin with.
