IDK, this was made to probably have more Asians aware about fish cruelty. I mean say all you want about animal rights and what not, but you have to agree that it's fucked that no one gives a shit whenever they serve fish still gasping to breathe
 
My first, random thought when I saw the thread title: "Looney Tunes could have made a solid episode with this premise."
 
First of all, aren't fish knocked out before they are killed? It doesn't make sense to start cutting them while they are squirming around.
Second, it's a shit manipulation to make people feel bad. Fish won't make observations about what's happening outside the aquarium.
Finally, sushi is really tasty.
 
Reminds me of the video where the pufferfish gets its face chopped off while it looks still alive. Kinda fucked me up a little. I still like sushi, though.
