So Blizzard decided to make an OW2 + MHA collaboration:


The ratings for the video are mixed, but they aren't as bad compared to other infamous videos:

And imagine doing a collaboration with MHA, out of all shows, because they can't cash in on the Chinese market because of MHA being banned there, and not collaborating with a "real shonen" series like DBZ, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan or Jujutsu Kaizen. (less so for the last three)

And are we going to see games collaborating with CGDCT shows in the future? Is K-On! too old of a show to get a collaboration with in 2024?

Strike while the iron is lukewarm!

MHA (the anime) is currently meandering with a poorly paced final season headed to a seemingly boring and unsatisfying conclusion that already played out in the Manga.

This would have been a fair bit better 2-5 years ago, much like everything Blizzard seems to do these days.

Also lol at having the Midori skin be for Tracer. If I were still deep into OW, I'd probably get the Toga skin (Fortnite did it better).
 
I miss Jeff Kaplan, although I understand why he left when he did.


His Developer Updates were concise and passionate with his role and commitment to the game.


There's WAY too much going on with these current Developer Updates. Way too distracting and "toots relatable" that makes it forced.

Idk, last season had both ssj4 sombra and ultra instinct widow, and it just resulted in endless sniper fire from the front and virus bukkake from the back every game.

Word on the street is that most maps were altered to shorten sightlines and make sniping harder. It's enough to get widow mains begging for a preemptive buff, but we'll see...

At least tie your fetish material into the game’s lore, mechanics, and gameplay, Overwatch.

As far as I know there is only one cat connected to the game and it’s Brig’s literal chonky pet cat. D.Va and Sombra both have cat girl skins but Zenyatta is the character with an ability with ‘discord’ in its name. It is Halloween season; thus far the centric character of all story Halloween content has been Junkrat (Dr. Junkenstein) and while he is chaotic, he is neither sowing discord nor parading around as a feline.

Obviously this is just a reference to degeneracy on the Discord app, but hell, couldn’t they at least give Zenyatta a cat skin first? Maybe save it for an animal kingdom themed battle pass? Actually collaborate with Discord in some tangible fashion to justify this?

Anything? Any effort at all?
 
This is just awful and the Sombre nerfs make her practically unplayable, a fairly compotent Widow on the opposing team is unbearable now.

That MHA collab is late as fuck, the manga ending was awful and a lot of people just abandoned the franchise not even watching the final arc which they cut to make a final, final arc. They did this because the writer refused to work faster and put so much filler in, it outpaced the anime production.

I have been playing so much Ana lately but I noticed in competitive there are no Sombres at all.
 
Came here to ask, how the fuck are there still 40,000 players in OW2 despite the mass uproar over how shit the game was? Even before people gaslit themselves into thinking Overwatch was "saved" because some Astronaut had an actual ass, this game somehow had around 30k+. I mean holy shit even during peak fuckup for the game around launch the playerbase was still a steady 30k? Is it the dopamine people are so hopelessly addicted to? Is it coomers? I know consoomer normies are just hopeless but good lord.
