I have no problem with characters being mostly women cause I'm not a faggot, but her design is so lame, just an inbetween of Tracer and Reinhardt. The last good design was Orisa, with her cute horse/african mask theme. From what I get they just make their basic designs lame now to make alt skins more interesting. Works to cash in more lootbox bucks, but it's a bad branding move. Who'd want merch of Moira or Brigette?
 
Having female characters isn't the complaint. It's what Blizzard does with them. They're pushed out frequently with bland-designs and kits to push out a ton of skins that people will buy. It also is a shot in the face for anybody that buys their "diversity" crap since, according to interviews, Doomfist was only created because the development team felt obligated to and they haven't hinted at a male hero since the game's release.

I don't care what the gender of the new heroes are on a database level, but I mark it as a strike against Blizzard because it's very obvious what their intentions are in releasing so many and I find that laughable and somewhat scummy.

This please. In Paladins they have 4 blaster DPS heroes. For some reason OW only has 2 with the rest being strictly projectile or hitscan with no explosives. I prefer projectiles and AOE damage so it'd be cool.
 
I've been going back to Overwatch. Got a triple kill with Mcree's Ult. Felt nothing.

Went back to a game of League of Legends. Got a triple kill with a champion that recently got reworked by using a combination of movement skills and an Ult. Felt good and it had me bobbing up and down in my seat.

Played CS:GO. Got a kill-streak using a weak-ass shotgun. Did it by deceiving the team with a miss-thrown smoke bomb. Feels good.

Overwatch just doesn't feel fun to play these days. I feel like there's no incentive to master the bare-bones mechanics because so much of the game is focused on the "team" and the "team" only works if you're tanking/putting out the most damage at the same time with asstons of CC. Sure, League can get like that too, but you can regularly outplay people in League. Overwatch's Heroes feel so limited that you don't really get the same opportunity to do that. I mean, Genji used to be the epitome of this, but with the amount of raw CC and damage negation in this game? Please.

Anyone else feel similar?

I feel the same. Its just shield, heals, shield, Dva matrix, Junkrat spam. That plus the amount of CC and garbage is starting to remind me of League and how unfun it was last time I played. The game was much more fun a year ago when Pharah, Mercy, and Roadhog were the fotm cause at least you could hit someone. If LoL is actually the better game right now, then whoa.....

This is Blizzard's biggest problem. They make a front heavy experience then are paddling up stream to make more end game content. WoW has been out for 14 years and, just recently, the grind and content started to feel sort of rewarding and worth repeating.

i dont like MOBAs and CS:GO. dont get me wrong, i think they're awesome and i should try them out, but what i dont like about them is their toxic communities. almost every player is an asshole who will yell at and abuse you for any reason. in fact, almost 70% of rage type autism in video game topics comes from those communities

as for overwatch. i have not encountered any form of toxicity in that game. so i feel comfterable. unless the toxicity comes from competitive mode.
