Feedback Option to pixelate/blur people's avatars on your end.

Someone may have an avatar you find offputting for whatever reason, it would be nice to have an option to blur said person's avatar on your end so you don't have to see it while reading or browsing.

Is it permenant or do you have to re-apply it everytime? I know that ublock can emporarily remove stuff with picker but its not permenant.

When you click on the uBlock icon in your browser ribbon, it's the eyedropper icon. Click on the webpart you want to block and then preview it. If the avatar disappears, confirm and create the rule. All future instances of the avatar should be blocked.

It creates a rule, so it should be active as long as you keep the rule enabled. You might be confusing element picker with element zapper, which is only temporary.

This should be allowed if there is a killcount under the avatar you block and a list is kept the user's profile page so people can be mocked. Same for blocking people.

My uBlock Origin kill list mentions the avatar's specific UNIX/upload timestamp so if/when they change their avatars I'll be able to see the new ones.

Neat, that worked, thanks, but how do you undo it? Like the avatar is gone, but when I go to "My rules/My filters" there's no way to undo it.

There have been a few avatars over the years, peanut butter and toejam's old avatar I found unseemly though he did eventually change it when I asked him, the guy running around with pregnant null goku I just wanted to smite outright, dunno what happened to him though.

The avatar that prompted me to make this thread isn't really on that level, I just found it uncanny/creepy, but I don't remember who's it was and I can't find it now though, it was some japanese girl with creepy eyes.

well its clearly not mine
